Hi there! I don't know at all if this is supported anymore, but this has been my favorite camping mod since ever. In Skyrim VR, the tent or campfire can never be set, it always says "the ground is blocked or not flat enough" no matter where it is tried.
Again, I don't expect this to be fixed on demand, but if it is something simple, it'd be appreciated!
To find unintrusive mods that are well designed for their purpose and nothing more, instead of overdesigned feature crept scripting/DLL monstrosities you really do need to go back years in modding sometimes huh. Kinda funny, but I'm happy to finally find it after feeling incredibly uncomfortable from all the bloat in a mod like Campfire lol, thanks. I mean why the actual hell does a mod to make a campfire and warm myself come with skill trees and an entire crafting system... but I digress.
I felt this comment. I set up my modlist earlier this year and use this mod instead of campfire because of all of the issues I was having with it. I just wanted a tent and fire. I am so thankful this one still works in 2023.
Hello Mcguffin This is great , I wanted to a partial survival this play thru with my new argonian, downloaded ineed and campfire , but still the goto bed thing happens with floating way above the tent, and so much stuff to carry , back pack doesn't help to much with that, but mage pack does, .. But finding this its great, I can still pitch a tent and fire to cook with, and have a seat to sit , the go to bed patch works great with this, no more floating miles in the air when sleeping... so yay ( that got extremely annoying to see its still happening ) ... Its such a great and very lite camping mod, going to look for jemima's camp, would like to try out the bigger tent and see how I go ... Thank you ! Tracking Endorsed Kudo'd
hi there, ive really enjoyed this mod so far but im suddenly getting a problem where the campfire I create is invisible. This only just started happening. Does anyone know any fixes?
Happened to me because I used Rest By Campfire BOS version, which swapped the nif model of campfire. I solved it by changing the model name for campfire furniture in this mod to the one in RBC:

Hello, I just started using this simple, but very immersive camping mod. I also use "Go To Bed" by andrelo1. I'm able to get them to work together with a little bit of compromise. I want to see if I can get them to work together perfectly without said compromise. Can you or anyone that knows how, to instruct me in how to reassign the tent deactivator to something else other than the tent itself, like maybe another tree stump, or even a dummy chest, etc? I ask this, because if I install the Tent Collision Disabler suggested by the "Go To Bed" mod author, the "Go To Bed animation works immersively and beautifully when using the sleep feature of smaller tents. If I don't install Tent Collision Disabler, the sleeping animation still works, but the camera captures the sleeping animation in a less desirable angle (not as immersive). In addition, when I am ready to break camp, I am not able to interact with the tent to pack it up, because its collision is turned off. Hence, is it possible to keep the small Nordic Tent's collision turned off and reassign the tent deactivator to another object that has collision, such as a second tree stump? If this can be done and does not require additional use of scripts, I am more than willing to try it myself with a little expert instruction from someone more knowledgeable than yours truly. Regardless of your response to this query, I would like to extend my gratitude for sharing this mod and time.
I have the same problem when using the go to bed mode.Tents cannot be removed. Small Nordic Tent Replacer. The Small Nordic Tent Replacer solves this simply. Animations in go to bed and demolition of camping both work
