This mod has just been updated to version 2.0. I've now included themes remixed from Oblivion by composer Daniel Ran (who writes for Beyond Skyrim). I still need to test it more for bugs and glitches, and would appreciate any feedback if anyone experiences any music-related bugs unique to this mod.
Edit: tested for a day of gameplay and updated it with a hotfix. Now it seems to run stable and working without bugs.
I think this is a great music mod! Probably the best! My only gripe with it is it seems to be a replacer mod, and the Bruma music seems to play a bit too often. Even the version which isn't labeled "replacer" (version 2.0) is replacing music, since I haven't heard The Streets of Whiterun play since I installed it. And yeah whatever program is picking the music seems to favor Bruma over Skyrim. I suppose that's simply how it's meant to be though, and I won't rag on that. I love the Bruma music and it's great to have an option for hearing it in Skyrim!
Love the mod, but I am having some trouble with the mod and chapter 2 music mods working together. I think they might need a patch or is there something I am doing wrong? Thank you for the mod.
NVM. It just started working lol. It might might have issues when the save file corrupts. Love the mod. It will definitely have a permanent spot in my load order.
I am a little confused by the desc., does this mean that it is taking the place of the Dragonborn dlc and Bruma? Or is he saying he used the same process that the dlc and Bruma team used to add new music? I understand this might be obvious, apologies, I just a little curious. Only modding I've ever done was creating a house so I don't know much.
Beyond that, I really appreciate this mod!! I love listening to this music and it's great to have it play while in-game. THANKS!
The mod cannot include the original music due to copyright. Luckily Morrowind music is played in Solstheim, so the files are in the base game. Oblivion music has been recreated by the Beyond Skyrim mod developers.
This mod adds both soundtracks to the Skyrim region.
I installed this mod recently in a new playthrough, and now it's become one of my must have mods. It brings me joy and nostalgia to the point where I might shed a tear (and I rarely cry). Great work! and thank you :)
