Hi. If someone somehow figured a way to make this work without SKSE, would you allow porting onto xbox? Feels criminal that NPCs cant use mounted combat by default
I have created an xEdit delta patch: https://mega.nz/file/FBIVHApa#HErBSOUZJO7v6NVv0HlsA03cXZxvWkL7ujS2ILuYK00 This fixes the issue with NPC's not sheathing weapons. Not sure if it has any other consequences though.
Hi White5pirit. Can you explain what this patch does exactly? I don't currently have this mod in my load order, but I've seen a similar sheathing bug with the civil war battles from Immersive Patrols so I wonder if there's a common fix.
Mhm exactly. But I don't want to redistribute modified ESP files without permission, so I have simply provided the small delta patch instead for people that could find it useful.

For those who don't know how to do the Delta Patching process in xEdit: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7474716-creating-seperate-patch-mods-for-bigger-mods/
Figure it out. White5pirit renamed HIS original esp file to "_s23_MCFE_SE - Backup.esp" so it doesn't work properly from a clean download from the Nexus that gives all of us the original "_s23_MCFE_SE.esp" file.
Uninstall the mod first.
1. Rename the original mod esp file inside the zip to "_s23_MCFE_SE - Backup.esp". Re-Install the mod.
2. Then open Xedit for only "_s23_MCFE_SE - Backup.esp".
3. Right click on "_s23_MCFE_SE - Backup.esp", click "Create Delta Patch using. . ."
4. Choose the patch file "Mounted Combat For Everyone SE NPC Sheathe Fix.esu."
5.WARNING ARE YOU SURE?! Press Yes.
6. Press the File > Save menu icon on the top left.
3. Go to Skyrim SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data folder.
8. Rename "Mounted Combat For Everyone SE NPC Sheathe Fix.esu" to .esp
4.Activate the patch esp with a mod manager and test sheathing in and out of combat.
I am unable to follow these instructions. I am sure xedit can't just find that delta file just because I downloaded it to my computer. How do I point at the ESU file?
@Harpuea do I need to download after your steps the mod again or does this fix work AS the mod itself now ? Followed all your instructions and got this plugin now in the Vortex plugin list
I followed these instructions, and it appears that the patch that's created deletes nearly every record in the original ESP. Is that intended or did I do something wrong?
Could not figure out why my NPCs weren't sheathing their weapons. Finally tracked it to this mod. I have latest version (v4.5). Still bugged. Extremely annoying, uninstalling for the time being.

Thank you very much White5pirit <.<.

Thanks

I had to uninstall it and continue from a former saving
If you want to take a chance on installing it make sure that you make a backup save because it WILL corrupt any save that you install it on.
