Hey! Thanks! Glad you like it. Honestly, I wasn't really thinking about doing these tree overhauls anymore, but I guess I could look into doing it for those two cities specifically. Can't promise they'll ever get made/released, but I'll see what I can do.
My best guess is that you either don't have the main esp enabled or you're using something like open cities. No other mod touches this mod's trees afaik.
Yeah, there you have it. This mod is incompatible with Open Cities. I don't have an OCS version, and to be quite frank, have no intentions of doing one any time soon. I know there is (or at least there was) a patcher on nexus that converted mods to be open cities compatible. Don't know if it's still around or if it still works. I guess you could give that a try?
I'm almost certain it's possible. I'd recommend doing it before merging though, so you're sure you're setting just this mod's trees and not other mod's trees as persistent.
i got my lexys through wabbajack when it was still on there so its already been merged :( probably best i leave it then, dont wanna screw it up lol thanks for the quick repsonse though :)
I've had a go at this, but the trees aren't immediately visible. I think it's because I'm using DynDOLOD, since that seems to govern the Whiterun model when viewed from the outside, and I hope they'll become so once I rerun LOD-generation, but I haven't had a chance to do that just yet.
Nice! Thanks for this, Whiterun is a fps killer for me anyway as I have Trees in Cities, Paradise City, Blubbo's Trees in Whiterun, and now going to add this! I also use 3D trees, Fantasy Forest, Dark Forests, Trees addon, ELOS oaks, Forest Borealis and more.. Fits my flora themed build perfectly! And yes peeps these all do work together with a bit of console disabling to remove the clipping trees.. See it in my video here.. https://youtu.be/SMGkXJR3owY Awesome job on this mod!! I'll feature it in a video on my YT, cheers! AncientGamestar
Is there a way to make some of the external trees aspen instead of just exclusively pines? I think it's odd how a lot of the trees in the city are aspens and yet theres none outside. Thanks, happy to do the work myself if you can point me in the right direction.
Yeah, I just meant for changing the records, I won't go as far as making another mod. Thanks :) Any chance you'll end up making a version with a few Aspens on the exterior in the future? Just makes more sense to me than the aspens being segregated to the interior alone.
EDIT: Also, there's a misplaced exterior Whiterun tree here - https://gyazo.com/fc1460b2e1ae5e2f0172d936c0fc9a06
EDIT 2: So I got my custom Aspens working, and deleted all trees that had issues. But now I've got another problem (which also existed before I modified it), I can't see the trees/tree LODs in Whiterun when I'm looking at it from the outside-in.
I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. You have to flag the tree reference as persistent. Flagging it as persistent will make it appear on any worldspace (i.e. Tamriel, WhiterunWorld, etc.).
Hi. I'm using the mixed file since I use DoS. There is a large tree which was added with the last update (it wasn't there before) that's right in front of the smelter on the side of Warmaidens. It clips when you try to use the smelter and you need to walk around it to get back to the main smithing area. Can this be moved? I don't mind the tree, just its location.

Thank you for this beautiful mod. Perfect balance!
Do you have any plans on doing Solitude and Windhelm?

EDIT: also add the Is Full LOD flag.

Another way is to remove it from the ESP.

The disable command is a godsend, ain't it? Hehe.
EDIT: If you're changing the tree the record is referring to. If you want to create your own mod, you're gonna have to use the Creation Kit.

See DynDOLOD Manual "Mods that add trees to the same area as child worlds" for more.
There is a support forum at https://forum.step-project.com/forum/101-shesons-dyndolod-support/ to mod authors alike with these kind of things.
Rest of the mod makes Whiterun look fantastic.
