Guys don't forget that if you enjoy the mod, please go to the original page and show the author some love!

    [Edit 07/02/2019]
Thanks again to BazingaIlI for the updated/modified version and Satafinix for approving it!

    [Edit 04/06/19]
Forgot to update post. A tweaked version was approved by author and is available as optional in the optional section!

    [Edit 09/20/19]
Hey guys, i edited and released a tweaked version of the mod to hopefully help those who are having issues when it comes to compatibility with other dragon mods. I also went ahead and deleted the distant roaring sound for those who were having issues. Hope it works and that it corrects your problems.

Thanks for the mod. Small note: assigning "USSEP" as the version number for v4.4.1 is confusing my mod manager. It thinks 4.3.1 is an update.

Is this or the remaster compatible with Talkative dragons?

No, talkative dragons or either versions of this mods replace the roars and sounds dragons make with Thu'um shouts or new roars, so no they are not compatible. Now if I remember correctly Talkative dragons comes in a bsa form so if you install both, this mod will overwrite that one.

Are you certain?  I read this on the talkative dragons page, but I'm not technical enough to say for sure:
"I only overwrote one record (CreatureDialogueDragon), which has minimal use, so it should be compatible with anything. Dragons added by mods (e.g. Diverse Dragons, Deadly Dragons etc.) will also speak as long as they use vanilla “CrDragonVoice” (which I’m fairly sure all dragons with no custom voice lines use).

To clarify, if you want to ask “Will this be compatible with X?”, the answer is yes, I’m 90% sure about that. If you have mods with dragons with custom voices, they won’t use dialogue lines from my mod, but they won’t prevent dragons with “CrDragonVoice” from using them.
If you’re wondering what I changed, I modified the condition in CreatureDialogueDragon to check for a list of dragon voices instead of just “CrDragonVoice” in order to enable lines for Odahviing (his voice is “CrUniqueOdahviing” so the old condition checking for “CrDragonVoice” would always return false). Other records in my mod don’t overwrite anything, they only refer to the CreatureDialogueDragon quest."

Is there any way to tweak the dragon sounds to make them a bit quieter? I love that they sound more menacing and all but most of the times the sounds are deafening.

Do I load this after KS Dragon?  Overwriting the 4 npc dragon foot WAV files seems cool, but it conflicts with something like voicepower.shoutxxxxx.fuz files so not sure who should win that or if the mods are incompatible?

Hi, Satafinix! You should not worry about lacking distant roars and other problems. There are no problem in your mod at all. it's just people don't checking their mod sets for conflicts in SSEEdit. Everything working fine, believe me. No need for special beta and deleting sounds. People should attentively check .esp records for conflicts, and do NOT place your plugin below other dragon combat mods in load order. That's all. Your mod is working fine even on Skyrim Classic (I do modding on both editions).
    Thanks for your reworked mod!

Hey thank you for the comment. See I am in the same boat as you. I have never experience the issue myself but just in case I put it up. Thanks for the nice comment though.

Thing is, his mod isn't below other dragon combat mods in my load order and the only conflict with other mods that SSEEdit shows is that his mod has the Spanish lower case ! (sorry, I don't know what you call it, the ! that stands on it's head and comes before a word) in his subtitle lines.

And I seriously don't know what else could be causing this. I'm not trying to piss on his mod or his abilities on something, quite the opposite: I love the dragon roars in this mod, they are the exact kind of epic beast noises I want my dragons to make. It's just a bit frustrating then when it doesn't seem to work 100% :D

yes, there is. there 100% is. i dont have any conflicts in sseedit, but the distant roars are silent, at least during the games intro. it sounds like a dope mod, but telling the author there are no problems when there are is not helpful. i use a few other dragon mods, but none of them modify sound, and the one that did (immersive sounds compendium) was overwritten. i also loaded this mod below all other dragon mods. when i disabled it, the roar was audible again. something here is busted, maybe a file is mislabeled or something, idk.
