No other voice files have been altered. The humming is simply gone.
No .esp, no unnecessary changes, no worries.
Your adopted children will now be 100% more lovable, and the children in the world will no longer make you want to poke out your own eardrums.
Installation
1. Download and install with Mod Manager
2. Let this overwrite any other mods that alter the malechild and femalechild voices,
or you will still hear the humming.
To uninstall, simply deactivate or remove this mod.

Your mod manager failed to uninstall the files from your data folder. Switch to Mod Organizer 2 which is much more reliable and uses a virtual data folder so you don't continue to have this problem in the future.
Children hum in real life. Why do you hate children?
Sigh. I do not hate children. This mod has no effect on children in real life. Please note that real live children will continue to hum as usual. This mod only stops fictional children depicted in the video game entitled Skyrim from humming.

¿Que diablos? This is a very personal question. Someone actually asked me this, and I hid their comment because the crudeness and complete lack of consideration/social awareness of such a comment disgusted me. Anyway, it obviously has nothing to do with this mod, which only stops children in Skyrim from humming.
Why would you create a subtractive "mod" that removes elements of the game?
Yet another real question I received. I would argue that this mod adds something to the game. It adds silence where there was once humming. Also, there are no quotation marks necessary. This does in fact modify the game and is by definition a mod.
