Interesting, Buff Others SSE v1.1 doesn't seem to work with STR 1.2.0. Vendor is there, spells are there, spells work on NPCs but not players. Server's PvP setting doesn't affect this.
When you use it on an NPC, do other players see the effects on that NPC? There's probably not much I can do on my end to make it work, honestly. maybe once STR is further updated, these spell affects will work on other players. Or maybe they'll have some kind of documentation on getting it to work.
This mod breaks ebonyskin. The regular one from vanilla. It overwrites the ebonyskin magic effect. The old one has target self, the new one has something else. The effect is: If you have magic absorption, it might absorb your ebonyskin you cast on yourself.
Fix is easy: Copy the overwritten ebonyskin magic effect and edit the new armor spells to use that effect instead of the vanilla one.
In case anyone is checking this mod due to the new Skyrim Together Reborn, the issue above is still present, and you can do the fix suggested by FnordLightbringer through SSEEdit.
Is there anyway to make it so that the "Walk on water" spell will work on mounts? I tried it thinking that the mount would count as an NPC, even saw the effect visual on it, but it was to no avail. Anyway, sick mod. I just wish it worked better along w/ my "Custom favorites menu", as of right now the only buffs that I have gotten that correctly show up under their category are the fire and ice cloaks. Regardless, atm I quite enjoy having it in my order.
I don't think it's possible since the game/engine never meant for that. It might be possible with scripting, but that's not in my skillset. As for that other mod, it's possible that the spells maybe need some kind keywords. I'm not sure, I made this years ago when the first version Skyrim Together came out.
question can you make a version where the spells last like 30 mins ? also thx and ive endorsed this mod does exactly what i wanted but didnt know how to ask. thx again.
do you think this would work togheter with Armored fist ? because that one edit Flesh spells from alteration school but i do not know if this one removes the "unarmed damage" (because i need it for another mod lol )
this seems good because i want to play as monk and i think monks should be able to cast novice buffs (like in most of games, monks are a second class to primary class buffers, for example: ragnarok online: ?Acolyte > monk or Priest ) thanks and sorry for my bad english
Is one of the screenshots meant to show the location of a chest? I don't see a chest in any screenshot.
If the tomes are in a chest does that mean they won't be in loot or vendor lists? I like the look of these spells but I'd prefer a normal method of obtaining them. (If not, I suppose I could always go learn how to edit that myself.)
it's a port from some MMO I think. I forgot the name of it, but it was ported by Ninirim. You should be able to find all of his ports with a quick google. The result that brings up a reddit threads asking about his mods should be helpful.
I imagine it will blow up once it's been in open beta for a while and more people are aware of it. My understanding is that it's not super stable right now and they're working their way through some bugs and stuff. This mod was already made for Skyrtim Together a long time ago, but since it's only available for SSE (for now), I went ahead and converted it.
