Will this work in Skyrim VR?

The weapons in the 2.0 version kind of breaks the unarmed feel to combat. The claws don't punch, they swing like a weapon. The kill cam is not unarmed but is matched to the type of weapon the claws mimic. For now I'll stick with the 1.2 version, the rings act like unarmed and you get the unarmed kill cams.

Just a question: because this levels up one handed/two handed it's considered a weapon, does this then mean you can get killcams on beasts like the weapons do?

Does this work with Ordinator Light armor perks? Thanks for the mod btw!

I've found this mod to be incompatible with Ordinator - it will need to have a patch written.

I have the mod on ps4. I have the appropriate perk in the sneak tree but my fists do not sneak attack for X15 damage. The corner of the screen will say X4 when I sneak attack. I suspected that maybe it just said X4 but was actually doing X15, but I've been playing skyrim long enough to know that that is not the case. I'm using the unarmed ewuipmant and everything. Also, I'm not using any other perk mods. Please help, I love the mod. I'd endorse buy it won't let me.

I like the mod, I installed it via the Bethesda mod client in game, but found it was glitching the heavy armour tree, I'd bought the fists of steel perk as it came around earlier in my game, I just recently noted I'd leveled heavy armour to 51, so, went to take the rank 50 perks, While I could take tower of strength without a problem, the cushioned perk was showing as unobtainable, as though I didn't meet the requirements. I unequipped re-equipped gear, rebooted the game etc etc, long story short, the only mod I had running, which changes, or, adds to perks was 'hit me with your best shot' and when I disabled it, everything functioned normally again, though I had to buy fists of steel a second time and lost a perk point in the process. I'm assuming this mod interacts somehow with the Fists of steel perk? I hope this gets fixed, will definitely update and re-enable the mod when it is.

I recently downloaded and started playing with this mod which I love btw but i just got the silent fist skill and I have been using the gauntlets and i seem to be able to only get a x4 multiplier rather than the x15 it should be. Maybe I am going about the attack wrong but I am try to execute it like a dagger backstab...

The 2.0 version still has the random gauntlets on the floor for the unarmed weapons (I prefer the idea of the unarmed weapons instead of the claws)

The 1.3 version doesn't have the gauntlets, instead has the ring, which is far less obtrusive, but also doesn't have the perks.
Also, have a talk with the person who made the Invisible Headgear mod about how they made stuff invisible.

I've been converting old skyrim animations for a while to see what is and isn't possible to use here for combat. I've found a few that function well like the cross and jab that make unarmed look a bit more viable, but I guess one of the major issues with unarmed is attack speed, reach and animations that truly sync with said elements. If it were at all possible, a mod like this would benefit from custom animations made to work together, but I feel like it would take some major collaborations between mod authors like yourself and the animators. One can only hope that a skilled modder or two like yourself and some animators could collaborate to create something truly complex and satisfying.

Maybe seek out a few of those animators from the oldrim nexus and see what can be done? (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77045/?)

I'd also recommend open screenshots to publish on your image page so we can show off the gauntlets.

One more thing to note... There was a knuckle/fist mod out there that added weapons (Not Tom's) that curled around the fingers & fist. Some of them had some truly pretty skins... Maybe you can request permission to add them to your mod, or add them temporarily if the mod authors seem like they're long gone. If they come back and deny usage then you can just remove them later. Anywho.. I wish you favor and fortune on your endeavor to enhance unarmed combat. Everyone knows it could REALLY use an overhaul. Oh yeah... You could also figure out a way to add some sort of power/scripting to your mod with specialized abilities and animations.. Y'know something to really bring out that uniqueness to your unarmed combat. Check out Elysees. He's an absolutely amazing mod author that is extremely underrated despite the work he can do (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/users/1034867/?). Maybe you can get a bit of help from him too.
