Apologies for the stupid question, but what's the difference between the file 2K textures and 2K textures with 1K normal maps? What's the meaning of normal maps and what parts of the texture are they? Rather new to modding
Half a year late lol, but a normal map is a type of texture that gives "depth" to an item, "faking the lighting of bumps and dents", as Google describes it.
The 1K option is to reduce the file size a bit. Haven't tested it myself, but guess the difference shouldn't be too noticeable.
I've been having an issue with this mod. When I am outside, the bottles react to direct light even when under shade. This screenshot is from inside Valtheim Towers (but still an outdoor worldspace) with ambient light turned down to 0.00. when I turned off direct light as well, the bottle went dark like the rest of the scene
Look at that subtle colouring. the tasteful thickness. Oh my god. it even has glow effects.

Okay bro, jokes aside, i just wanted to throw this here cuz why not, relevance i guess, and that imma throw it in my playthrough and rant here if its gonna break my game. Thanks again, gonna get your goddamn gems too while at it cuz that mesh work, for being something done from scratch, is really impressive. Is there a enb that I could use to make the glow more prominent? I added the increased glow with restore (not sure the difference between restore and without) but it doesnt seem that strong.
I can't help with that unfortunately, I know some ENBs make the glow stronger, some make it weaker or non existent even, some make them blink, but which exactly I do not know.

Glow is very subtle/not working for me right now. I've had it work bright in the past. No ENB installed. Very odd.
Edit: I'm betting its because I did the SSE meshes this time.
