An SSE conversion for the Amaterasu-ōmikami mod for Oldrim. Ammy can be found at Whiterun, next to Jarl Balgruuf's throne in Dragonsreach. (Updates on hold indefinitely)

Hey there friends! Ages ago I came across Amaterasu for Oldrim, and seeing that nobody had converted her for SE made me incredibly sad - so I went ahead and learned how to do it myself!
(HUGE notice for anyone with questions, concerns, and suggestions; I'm completely new to modding and don't know what I'm doing at all. Ofc I'm doing my own research into how, but please be kind and tolerant of any screwups!)
Development on Ammy is currently on hold, due to life and technical issues. One day I'll return and give her the love she deserves...
Current bugs;
- Loading screen model doesn't show up. This occasionally causes CTD, I'm not sure how to fix this & am accepting help.
- Amaterasu gets confused in tight tunnels, and she can get stuck easily.
- Some of the text in the config menu has $ before it; I have a feeling this is a translation file issue, but it doesn't detract from gameplay at all.
- The file does not install through NMM for some people. I suggest installing manually.
- The model doesn't appear, but her voice, breathing and book do.
Probably not a bug but it's annoying;
- Voice lines pop up sometimes asking for weapons or apparel. Obviously, Ammy cannot wear or use any of these. She will, eventually, get a new voice.
New plans;
- Matching weapons, sheilds, and armour; match your wolf God companion!
- Lore books about Amaterasu to fit her into Tamriel.
- Potential questline? If you have experience with quest mods and you're interested in helping me out, please let me know!

In Skyrim she can be found near the Whiterun's Dragonsreach throne.

Q. Nothing has changed after update
A. It always been a big head pain for mod-developers and players. Try the following:
Q. I got a blob behind my character
A. This issue was a part of v1.1.2 and earlier. In order to remove blob from your current save, you may need to transform yourself into a beast or vampire form. This is the only way known today.
Q. A follower says "I got somebody following me already", but I don't
A. Type in console: "set playerfollowercount to 0"
Q. I am a developer and can't compile a scripts
A. Download and install SkyUI and Extensible Follower Framework scripts into your ./Skyrim/Data/Scripts and./Skyrim/Data/Scripts/Sources folders

- Download "Amaterasu - The Great Spirit"
- Extract to the Skyrim "Data" folder
- Enable ESP in your load order list
- Done

- This mod does not modify anything, but adds a new content. In most cases you shouldn't get any trouble with other mods.

While Ammy looks good already, the actual work is not finished yet.
What has been done
- The main body was taken from the Skyrim "wolf.nif" and only extra parts were added. These parts were carefully weighted. The rest body left as is and should work perfectly with the Skyrim game
- Normals were completely reviewed on the whole body. In case if you wish to edit source, please be careful with that stuff - that seems very easy to screw everything
- "Fur" part is copied as is. Ignore this in the 3DS Max file
- A draft texture for the main body looks good already ...
What should be done
- Translation. If you are a native speaker of a language different from English, and willing to help with translation - please let me know.
- If you are native English speaker, your contribution with spelling check will be greatly appreciated.
- Texturing is not my area of expertise. Should you a skillful artist and willing to help, please download the sources and make your version.
- Particle system in the Skyrim has lack of documentation. It is required to finish the draft work about this, so it would look like in the Okami game.
FAQ & TROUBLESHOOTING

- then make a new save
- [OPTIONAL] clean up your save with "Save cleaner"
- install mod files and load the game

v1.1.3 - 06/17/2016
- Added version and build details in the settings menu
- Fixed an issue with a teleport effect. Now it should not generate a blob behind a main character. In order to remove blob from your current save, you may need to transform yourself into a beast or vampire form. This is the only way known today. Many thanks to Dilwolf for pointing to this bug
- Fixed an issue with a buggy Amaterasu race available under the race selection menu
v1.1.2 - 08/31/2014
- Teleport effect got a slight change, and will look a little more esthetic
- "Call Amaterasu" shout will trigger a messages. You may disable them in the configuration panel
- You can now disable "Call Amaterasu" shout AI option in the configuration panel as well
- Particles effect got a huge cleanup work. Though it's still in prototype state - keep it turned OFF, if you don't like it
- Compatibility with Extensible Follower Framework
- Second loading screen should not be so frequent now
- Fixed a text misspell ("Amaterasu" to "Amateru") on the first loading screen
- General code cleanups
v1.1.0 - 08/24/2014
- "Call Amaterasu" shout has been implemented. Check Amaterasu inventory for a tome
- Extra loading screen has been added
- Particles effect is now optional and turned off by default
- Amaterasu is not overpowered anymore. Although high level players can use a "Power bonus" option to make her stronger again
- SkyUI is a new requirement to support a configuration panel
- General fixes and a files cleanup
