Pretty sure the sword is bugged for me? The meter just refuses to go up no matter how many people I kill. I've killed I think 5 vampires and then killed 10+ bandits in a cave without using it to fight anything else but the damage/charge just refuses to go up. Am I missing something here?
I started being stalked by a guy in black around lvl 10 after being seen as the dragonborn. Is that normal? Guy would be non-hostile but would end up fighting things and killing them easily without a sword. Think he would shout at them.
I know this post is from a chunk of time back, but IF I am correct, considering I get a kick out of constantly making new modded playthroughs, that may be Nightbringer. That's the only one I can come up with considering Nightbringer can appear pretty early on, might have something to do with your leveling and/or how the game reads your level somehow. Now the thing about not being hostile sounds a tiny bit odd if it is Nightbringer. I remember him mainly appearing to fight the player. Any chance you have a mod making you aligned to the undead faction in some way? Apologies for the paragraph, and this is the only idea I have for what was/is going on in your game. I'm not too smart when it comes to actually making mods, but I'm good at finding bugs in my own game. Hey, maybe it's part of A Sword Accursed and involves some of the possibilities I've stated. Again, sorry for the paragraph!
Nice, just let you know the mod is at form 43, need to convert to form 44. I converted myself using CK. Maybe you can update it.

Also there's this ski_playerloadgamealias.pex script. I think its useless for this mod. Because its SkyUI MCN menu. (only saw the problem from recent loot warnings)
I replaced with skyUI by extracting from skyUI, so far there's no major issue. Will update if there is any.
Still around helping others do their mods, this however was a just a port , I'm not looking to alter it or modify, just leave that to others given its open permissions to any if credit is given. (feel free to publish upgrades, modifications, ect, following original creditors)
more often scripts do cause an issue, but I haven't noticed any in regards to that one you mentioned flagging on my loot V.16 , *shrugs* In regards to 43 vs 44: The 43 vs 44 is a common discussion, its not required for most mods, unless its a huge, or expansion or big file sized, even then I honestly rarely see it cause problems when im debugging them in 43. I do know some users get very religious on 44 form only, but after years of testing 43 on various saves with zero problems its really to each their own preference. if it works and no issues i dont push it
For me the only reason why i choose form 44 over 43 is bash patch. Wrye Bash does not patch mods that are tag with form 43 or they will crash the program while patching.
Happened to me with a few form 43 mods, than after i convert them. It can now patch properly.
I just come back to replay skyrim after new pc upgrade, trying out 1000 mods....no wyre bash = bugged game
I awakened the sword but it does no damage (literally 0) now so killing with it is nearly impossible, and when I do it loses all charge within like 30 seconds, is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
**EDIT** My quest log just says pick up the black sword. I looked all over the kill zone for the sword, notta. So additem'd me one up. thought no worries. I've killed lots of people and demora, even went into levelers tower in the arena and slayed me lotsa big ugly reds. the sword said thanks they were yummy. but no quest update. Me thinks its a broken quest. try again on next Char.
So finally figured out an issue I've had with this mod in both LE and SE where the the sword powers would heal the enemy rather then harm and hurt your character. Turns out that having perks that would effect summoned weapons before you get the sword and awaken it would screw the it up and the fix would seem to be to remove the perks. From a very small test you could re-add those perks and both would function as they supposed too but cant say that it will stay that way.
Also I think this may only be the case if you have perk overhauls installed that effect summoned weapons (personally use vorkii or ordinator)
Wow, thank goodness you figured this out, I couldn't tell what it was! I thought it was a weird interaction with my Warrior's Flame (ordinator, Restoration) or Ocato's Recital with one of my Forgotten Magic spell auras.
Any way to create a patch for this or to dissect it? I'd contact the mod author, but I'm not sure they're still active or interested in this any longer.
probably best not to use any mods that alter perks, abilities that coincide within another mod and less problems arise this is an older mod that was ported as is from LE , but its free for anyone to make patches , alterations , ect to this mod per original author
After further messing around and reading on my part I'm not sure it was the perk mods causing this and not another bug that comes from perks doubling up on reloaded saves after a death or again something else entirely. The perk doubling bug was something I saw mentioned by the author of ordinator/vorkii (can't remember which one of his mods i saw that talked about in the comments or bug sections) and seems to just be a general skyrim bug.
Oddly I can remember using Perkimus in oldrim with this mod with no problems and then trying out ordinator when I got tired of the amount of patches need for perkimus. After that this bug occured with both from then on.

alot of his monster are daedric. The nekkers are one bunch of them.
Went into a nekker camp (20+ of them) my daedric restoration went up 20%.
Also the spells to summon daedric summons, can be use to feed the sword. Sounds like cheating
before it was always vampire > dragon > daedric (can't find much daedric in skyrim) now. my daedric going through the roof.

picking up the sword will deal damage to the user, if you survive , you can wield it, if you dont you die
