I spent the last hour trying to find out what's been causing my compass markers to disappear. Was so sure that my hud mods had something to do with it, imagine my surprise when a seemingly unrelated mod that should have had nothing to do with compass markers was the culprit.
It shouldn't compas landmarks, but if you mean the quest markers it's disabled by default in the MCM>Auto save and time>HUD USERHUDVISIBLEFLOATINGQUESTMARKERS USERHUDVISIBLECOMPASSQUESTMARKERS
I removed this mod after a few weeks using it, i discovered it was responsible for my unstable random freeze issue. Now my game is so smooth. And the compass marker thing was a bad idea.
The mod works fine except quest markers keep vanishing from the compass. When placed near the top of the load order, they were there for one game session. When I came back, the markers are gone again. When placed near the bottom, the markers simply never appear at all. Someone mentioned this over a year ago with no reply so I guess this is a final version.
Like I said, it does what it is supposed to and does it well. Thanks for making it. I just wish it didn't interfere with other parts of the game.
I don't play Skyrim anymore and this is not my mod so yes, this is final version. I think I managed to return quest markers after playing with the MCM but I'm not sure about it
So I do love this mod but I notice it doesn't make save files under the character names. So I again have to go through the whole list of saves to find the character I want to play with instead of being able to just look at the saves for a specific character. Choosing "use native saves" did not fix this either which kinda makes this a bit annoying. Any way to fix this?
Is there any way to disable ALL narrative features? I really just wanted this for its auto-save capabilities, while the narratives are getting really annoying.

USERHUDVISIBLECOMPASSQUESTMARKERS

- Auto-Save and Time
- Hud
- Make sure the following options are checked:
USERHUDVISIBLEFLOATINGQUESTMARKERS
USERHUDVISIBLECOMPASSQUESTMARKERS
The appropriateness of such features in a mod like this as well as the decision to default them to "disabled" is a debate into which I will not enter.

It seems to be working now though. Not sure if it was a fluke in that save or if moving it down in the LO helped. Oh well!
