I highly recommend using these textures to give Christmas Lanterns a more Nordic lore-friendly look.

HiToostruus ! This looks like a wonderful little addition to Skyrim ! I'd like to try your mod, but I have another pine tree model replacing the vanilla one, and I wonder if it's gonna be ok ?

    Hello,
Can these lanterns only appear in Evening Star (december) ? As can this quest Spirit of Saturalia - Immersive Start Tweak or Seasonal Saturalia Merchant ? This would avoid having to install it in december and then uninstall it in january. Thank you in advance for your reply.

I think that requires scripting. Which i am unfamiliar with.
I know that Pfusher is working on something requiring this mod.
Maybe he can help you out.

      Hello,
can you propose invisible meshes so that the mod doesn't need to be uninstalled after the holidays ?

Well, you were faster than me, lol. As I have no patience, I made some "invisible" meshes myself with nikskope. It's the first time I've used this software and I just opened the bsa and changed the lantern flags to "hidden". For those interested, I have a link valid for one week : https://we.tl/t-SJor5HRbQA. I assume it's the same thing you suggest.

I also took the opportunity to compact the formIDs and make an ESPFE with SSEEdit to save space in the load order and it seems to work without a problem. On the other hand, these lanterns don't seem to appear with Open Cities, which is an essential mod for me (I haven't fully checked, they blend in with those of Holidays) and I regret that it's not compatible with Happy Little Trees unlike Holidays.
I noticed floating lanterns in Riverwood, but I was able to check that my hidden meshes were working, the floating lanterns having disappeared with them. I'd love to have a patch for Happy Little Trees but that's beyond me.

      Merry Christmas !

Is there a patch for legacy, otherwise I have to fell the big tree in front of the museum. Because it is right in front of the entrance.

These lanterns are incredible, they've been on my mod list for so long, even when it isn't Christmas time...

In my opinion, all the mods I put in the list were incredible, It was almost impossible to rank them...

So, what days do these lanterns appear? or are they always there? A good example mod is: Holidays

Thank you so much for porting this mod! It's very underrated, but its what got me back into playing skyrim. Now I can't play without mods, but this is always one of the first things in my list. Dreariness exists everywhere, including real life- I need some color in my fantasy!

Just as a side note, I couldn't find a patch anywhere, but the tree in Solitude is right in front of the legacy museum doors. I removed the tree with sseedit, and now I have floating lanterns! I think they look kinda cool. I'm just not good enough to move the tree somewhere safer and I don't know how to make a patch, but I thought I would give you a heads up. (Previous playthroughs I just deleted LotD bc I love this mod so much.)

I love this mod, adding a little colourful detail to the cities I have it on all year round, it could do with a patch for Legacy of the Dragonborn though as this sticks a giant christmas tree complete with lights right in front of the stairs leading up to the museum door and I can move everything using jaxons but it takes a good hour at least and have to do that with each new game. If not too much trouble could it be done? Thanks

I noticed the Nordic Christmas Lanterns you recommended is a LE mod, is it compatible with SSE?

Sure. It's only textures. Almost all Oldrim Textures only mods are working fine for SSE as long as they are DDS format.
