If reporting issues please submit a bug report with a screenshot and a specific location in game where I can go to see it for myself. I appreciate the reports I've gotten so far but they haven't been very useful to me without that information.
This causes the palace walls in Windhelm exterior to disappear while looking in certain directions. SnowMaterialWindhelm1P. I've made an esp patch to fix it though.
I knew there was something wrong with my game. Couldn't figure it out for ages. It bothered my eyes, felt like i wasn't seeing right. Was getting to the point I didn't want to play. Decided to try this and followed some of the suggestions in the description. They've made a big difference. the game is clearer and not flickering minutely like it was.
Didn't even realize the shimmer sucked until I got rid of it, thank you! It definitely helps with nausea, I played much longer after I installed this mod and I didn't even notice. Thanks!
Great mod and it really does work well. Like others have pointed out, there are a few issues with some ice textures inside caves. I won't post a screen shot because from what I've seen it happens in the majority of icy caves (or, at least, it has happened inside all of the ones I've recently explored). There is a bandit cave (can't remember the name) when you head west out of Windhelm along the north side of the river - you get to the Mill. Then turn almost directly south and head across the river and up a hill, you'll find a campsite with a couple bandits and an ice-cave with a bandit hideout hidden within. There are a couple "fully white" wall textures in the icy parts. I've even tried some other texture packs for ice caves, thinking that would help, but it didn't make any difference. Still, that's a relatively minor issue and I've currently left this enabled barring other issues.
I'm still encountering this issue on the current version. You'll see it in the room transitions in the icy area of The Midden. There are other places where its more egregious, but this is the easiest to reach by my memory. There's a spot in Frostflow Abyss (attached to the Frostflow Lighthouse's basement) that is PARTICULARLY bad. You look like you're in a giant dome of nothingness.

"I don't recommend using Better Dynamic Snow or Majestic Mountains because they make certain spots shimmer badly."
Basically these mods look bad in VR in general and I provide better alternatives in the description.

Thankyou greatly. Endorsed.
Thanks
