A new version of "Harkon's Sword Modified" has been uploaded and can be downloaded. The new version has improved on both the base value, and enchantment cost of the sword. The enchantment cost has been lowered from 187 per hit, down to 110. I feel this is well balanced. The base value has been raised from 75 to 2000 to reflect the sword being a truly unique weapon. A sword such as this should be a rather valuable artifact, considering its unique enchantment, and design. Hope you guys like this version of the sword.
Makes the sword certainly good looking, and the change is nice as well. However it can't be upgraded at the grindstone, unless it requires some specific smithing perk (I haven't invested many points into it). Without that, it makes it soon enough... trash pretty much, compared to other weapons. Could this please be looked at and fixed?
Sorry for the late reply, it's been a hectic year.
Yes, it is possible for me to do that. Although, keep in mind that the amount of charge taken from the sword every time you swing it is largely determined by your destruction level. This sword intentionally has a high charge-use in the base-game because it's an incredibly strong weapon. The charge taken will also decrease if you have enchantments that reduce the cost of destruction spells by a percentage. If you have an enchantment that reduces the cost of destruction spells by say 20% then the sword will use 20% less charge on each swing. This is true even if you get to a 100% reduction, at which point the sword will no longer use any charges.
So that's just a tip to increase its efficiency. I'll see what I can do.
Thank you, I feel this is a decent balance/buff, while also not making it a god-like weapon. I felt the original was just lacking in raw dps. Let me know if there is anything wrong, or if you think something should be balanced/changed.
