Issue where after talking to a cat, taking it to my house, telling it "this is your home now", then dismissing the lil guy so I have a cat wandering around, there is never a dialogue again. Now that I've moved into Breezehome, I can't take Pepper with me. Uninstalling is not an option. Game is literally unplayable without cats.
This mod doesn't offer a home dialogue, so it's gotta be My Home Is Your Home or another mod adding that line. You can try using a different mod for that function. I recall Followers Can Relax used to work well for me: it has a "you can relax here" line, which is essentially the same as setting a home location.
Black cat is riften isn't wandering. It's perpetually walking into the door of the bee and barb. Cats name is saber. Not major but unsure if that it's intended behavior.
Just an FYI, on the FILES page, the plugin file name for the waterflow correction is misspelled, Twenty_Eight_Friendly_Cats.esp rather than Twenty Eight Friendly Cats.esp
It isn't a big deal for someone with experience to correct this on their own, but someone new to modding would not know what to do.
Yep, two different names for the esp when you also load the v1.1 esp replacer. And I also get two copies of each cat...
Edit: Thanks for fixing the name of the Esp plugin replacer for the Waterflow records (corrected by xilamonstrr). Too bad we can't simultaneously use both the Waterflow esp plugin replacer and the NFF patch Esp plugin replacer by GCrow.
In Special Edition Skyrim water works a little different than in Legendary, it imitates movement more. In this case fixing was required because some of the cells where the cats were placed accidentally had a broken waterflow record, resulting in glitched, partially static and misdirected water.
Maybe I misunderstood, but the cats do get seen and attacked by enemies in my game. I was stealthed near a cave bear and it aggroed on my cat follower (Smokey).
Also, not sure how to uninstall. The cats keep getting targeted by the Imperious mod Bosmer abilty: Harrier. When I attempted to uninstall, the cat model became invisible, but the cat was still walking around, highlighted by the Harrier ability.
Yes, they do get seen, they aren't purrfect in stealth (just good).
I recall Harrier targeting carriage horses and a bunch of other friendly creatures, it's just a thing it does, that you can ignore. Could be patched, probably, no idea how specifically. I don't think you should uninstall any esp on an ongoing playthrough, Skyrim is usually not fond of that.
I mean I'm unable to start a game without the cats. I've disabled the mod and started a new game; the cats aren't visible, but they still get targeted by Harrier. They appear to be invisible but with the green Harrier glow. When I get close I can hover over the glow and see the cat's name.
EDIT: even though I can see the cat's glow walking around, and even hover over it and see its name, I can't actually interact with it. I can't even target it in the console (just get the floor instead).
EDIT 2: I can attack the cat (which also makes the entire town hostile to me).
Double check if you have actually uninstalled the mod. Which mod manager are you using? If you have started an entirely new save file without the mod present, the cats can not be there.

Submitting your screenshots with cats is always welcome, thank you! :3
