Working like a champ. You did such a good job on the physics for this, it looks so real! (Y) I tried moving the mesh shape a bit further behind the head so it would fit to hair styles that have more volume. This resulted in CTD as soon as I equip it tho ^^ Is there any safe way to do this or is transforming the mesh always gonna break the physics?
EDIT: Nvm, it works now. My mistake before was adding in a reference shape to see how far back I have to move the ribbon. I deleted it again afterwards, but it probably still somehow broke the physics.
It really is. That's why I was surprised that transforming your ribbon worked with no further problems. I am decent at converting between different body types and SSE/Oldrim now, but when SMP is involved it's just never working out. It would just look fine in Outfit Studio/Nifskope and then the body weight or something else is broken in game. I'm really lacking a lot of knowledge for this ^^
Do you still remember how to move the hair tie backwards in a program (e.g Outfit studio) and if so could you tell how you did it? been trying to figure it out on my own and no luck.
I think in OutfitStudio the only thing you have to do is load in the .osp project for the ribbon, then use the transform tool (circle that has two orthogonal arrows on top of it) and drag the blue arrow as far as you like to move the ribbon backwards. Then save the project, run it through bodyslide again and you're done. But don't make any other changes to it, otherwise it will break the physics.
Terrific work! But what should I do if I want to change the slot the ribbons use? It seems that it can't be done by simply changing the arguments in TESVedit (or CK) and NifSkope
Physics always confuse me. I have hdtSSEFramework, hdtSSEPhysics, and hdtSSEHH installed that work fine with my other physics enabled mods. Do I need something in addition to use SMP physics specifically? I ask because I really like these ribbons a lot, and I would like to try the SMP version if possible. Thanks.
Edit: Also, just a heads-up that your links to the HDT framework are outdated. I'll post the fresh links below.
So ... I guess I just answered my own question after checking those links again lol. I guess what I have is SMP. Kind of sad that I can't even keep track of what I'm running :P
