After many years of despair and hope, our adoption process has finally come to a successful conclusion. Recently, I am the father of a little boy named Ozymendias (or "Little Alduin"). He arrived at 3 months in our lives and he will be 2 year old on October 2nd of this year.
We wish to offer him a play area. Each one of your participation will make it come out of the ground and will add an accessory, a swing, a slide, a sandbox... A lasting gift that will create joyful memories and fill our garden with the laughter of children, so long awaited for so many years.
I never wanted to monetize my mods, it's a passion that I share freely with others but that it might be a nice occasion for people who want to support me to participate and help us :)
Hi! I've started using this mod through the NOLVUS pack, I did not know it existed.
One issue I'm having is with the 'Welcome to the Imperial Mail' letter. It's not a standard letter format, the font very tiny and mostly unreadable. I've uploaded screenshots to Imgur: https://imgur.com/a/1V75ox9
I'm playing at 4K and the welcome note you get for opening your mail account is completely unreadable FWIW. Please consider adding this to the enhancement list for future versions.
Looks great, currently using skalds mail and wondering whether I can switch, the main thing I want is to make the courier deliver notes to my mailbox instead of to me, is that something this mod does or should I stick to the other one, or use both? cheers.
a bit late but i hope this helps anyone with similar decisions to make. also i don't use skald's mail so sorry if i misunderstood and this doesn't do what you want. anyway I highly recommend Arthmoor's Provincial Courier Service. (It's not on Nexus but don't let that scare you) Go to Whiterun and somewhere outside the city gates there's a new building where the courier lives, and you can tell him to deliver stuff to you directly, or to a specific house you own. Or if you don't feel like going to Whiterun you can snag the the courier next time he tracks you down and let him know your preferences then. This is a permanent fixture in my personal load order.
Really late here with a reply. If I am understanding you correctly, you want all mail/notes to be delivered to a mailbox, then Skald's Mail does that. You have to rent a mailbox or buy one first though. Before that, the courier will still come to you in person. If you feel that important mail should still be delivered by the courier (according to describtion on mod site, it's certain notes and mail that the courier has special voice lines for, like the note from the dark brotherhood and the hearthfire one from the jarl of Falkreath), then there is an option you can tick in the mcm.
Ever though about a way "to murge" those greatcomplementary mods that are THIS ONE and Exchange Currency SE from UNI00SL, or at least a patch for both to work mano-a-mano ? That would be amazing !
Does this mod work both ways? Replace the immersion-breaking courier like the post office in earlier games did? I absolutely detest that creepy weirdo who stalks me across Skyrim.
I can't get this mod to work. I ask a vendor (and have even travelled to Solitude to the main branch) to use the services and all I get is the "default" option to buy a new passbook, which I can't even click on, no matter what I do. I got a welcome letter but no passbook has ever shown up in my inventory. I am uninstalling it until I get some help.
Don't know if anyone else has this problem, but when I send a parcel I have to give it, exit out, go back in, choose to send a parcel again, choose the same destination, then it finally asks me to confirm what I already gave and then I can pay for it. Not sure why all these extra steps are needed. It's as though it can't pop up the confirmation the first time. I am using Immersive Speechcraft, so maybe that's interfering. In any case, now that I know the workaround I'll just deal with it.
After reading through the Bugs I now realize this is due to an incompatibility with Skyrim Souls, and it just needs a small change to one of the scripts. I'll get that done and hopefully I can put it up as a fix.
EDIT: COMPLETE! See the bugs section. If anyone is using Skyrim Souls, you need to use the revised script. I modified the script and compiled it for both Imperial Mail Service and for Imperial Mail Interest. The files are in this archive.
