Before more people ask. This mod is compatible with every mod !!
If you use ELFX, overwrite it with my mod.

For those who don't wanna get rid of the glow completely, there is a new option:

LLF Particle Lights instead of Fake Glow

Is there anything like this for the sovngarde lanterns?

edit: It seems to be fake lights in child worlds via Dyndolod causing it.

Does it applies to torches, candles, campfires and city fires?

Soooo....MO2 literally doesn't recognize this file and refuses to download it, whether I direct download or manually download. I'm at a complete loss. This isn't even a load order issue. I haven't even gotten to that step yet. Is the download corrupted or is the mod just outdated? Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

Edit: Ended up restarting my computer and that fixed the issue. Make's JK's Dragonsreach not an eye destroyer. Endorsed.

    Hi
I have a mod "window shadows" and your mod overwrite this. It's ok?

If I let Window Shadows overwrite it, MO2 tags it as obsolete. That mod might edit all glows perhaps?

When installing this mod with MO2, it says "redundant" and it does nothing in game. Why?

I'm gonna try the "reduced glow" version instead of "no glow" because, walking into Whiterun at 9:30 PM in rainy weather, it was almost pitch black, and the lights that were on, were only visible from like 3 meters. I only found whiterun with a lantern by the direction on my compass lol. (Semirealis ENB)

I found that I do not have bonfires on the walls of Whiterun, those that are visible on your screenshots. But I remember exactly that I had them before. Please tell me which mod adds them?

People can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I used to have them with the ELFX Exterior module.

They come with ELFX exterior option. I removed ELFX exterior from my LO just because of this visual glitch/excessive glow.

Can you also apply this to giant camp bonfires?

It's not necessary to do it this way. Inside textures BSA 4 there are bunch of glow textures. Overwriting some of those with dummy textures removes the glow from a whole whack of objects. Use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78174?tab=files as your template for the dummy texture. I think for campfires and other "embers" it's data\textures\effects\glowlightflash.dds. Wall torches are fxglowwhite01. Candles are candleglow01.
