From the other mod author: " Yes, there's no conflict at all, it's essentially a matter of understanding how each mod works to get them to do what you want them to. You need to keep in mind that SleepTight mod modifies NPCs' AI while mine doesn't. So if you want your followers to sleep under blankets in Sleeping bags you've placed for them, you'll need to disable SleepTight's followers support when there are other beds or bedrolls around, or else sleepTight will force them to use any other random bed it has found - my mod doesn't "force" followers to use sleeping bags, it lets them decide on their own sandbox package when to use them. Also, only enable one outfit management system for your followers to prevent your game to do the job twice."
I just created a mod that does assigns some specific outfits. It was fairly simple in XEdit to add the pieces and then associate the other gender's clothing with each piece. Link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/87132/
After installation, it works fine at first. NPCs change into their pajamas and sleep normally. However, when I leave the CELL and come back, it doesn't work. I have to press the reset button again. I have to press reset every time I move the CELL. It's not immersive at all. Whether I just use this mod or use the Sleep Tight Fixes script mod...my problem is the same.
When i murder an npc while they're sleeping, their default clothes magically appear on their body as they die. Is there a way to make it so that they stay in their current sleeping clothing, as they die in their sleep?
How does this mod manage how it re-equips clothing? Does it just re-add their default outfit? I (like many others) use SPID to add new outfits. The only other mod I've seen that has NPCs changing their clothes does so by returning them to their default outfit. Plus, I noticed while testing that a character woke up with a different outfit (although it also wasn't her vanilla one, but I assume that Divine Elegance Integration or QND Divine Elegance also changed her default outfit, just not the one I chose in the FOMOD).
The overall good impression of the mod, but not without flaws. AE Skyrim, mod 3,1 - Pajamas/nudity doesn't seem to work with multi-level locations. After the first loading screen the characters follow the rules of the mod, but after the second loading screen they go to bed in their clothes/armor, fixes will not help with this.
I tried replacing the default robes with outfits that I've chosen, but I can't seem to get it to work. I've added my clothes to both the Leveled List and the FormID List, but now when I play the game, everyone sleeps naked, even though I've set the mod to only let NPCs sleep in robes. I feel like I'm missing a step, and I suspect it's going to be something minor that I'm easily overlooking. I've restarted the mod while playing, and while an NPC is asleep, they'll get dressed in their default outfit before stripping naked again. How can I make the mod load the outfits I've chosen?

I still highly recommend Sleep Tight Fixes. This is still needed for Sleep Tight SE to function properly.
I BELIEVE this makes it dangerout for your saves to update mid-game, maybe it's a good idea to post a warning?
That is also why i left the old version available.
Sticky for now.
Sleeping Bags - Sleep Under Blankets
I don't use that mod.
