~~~READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE POSTING!!!~~~ I don't make patches for mods I don't use. This is true of nearly ALL my mods. I don't have the time or desire to do this for free, and it's user's choice to use "x" mod. Anyone else is free to do so, just credit for the original, and require it as a master.
Please make an AIO (All in One) file, comprising of your main mod file and hotfixes. I have lots of mods, and it's cumbersome to manage multiple files for same mod. Hence my request here, please consider. Thanks.
Hey there, just checking because I'm pretty new to modding, a mod like this isn't really something you can add in mid-playthrough right? I presume that it messes with the existing files too much & I'd have to start a new game before enabling it?
I've just been going through the College questline & feeling increasingly bothered by how utterly barren Winterhold feels beyond the college itself, despite the fact that the Great Collapse was almost 80 years before the game starts, and this mod seems to fix that really well, but I don't know if it's worth the risk to try installing it now when that might end up bricking my save file. Regardless, definitely saving this for my next playthrough.
Also, disclaimer, I am on Xbox so would be using the version on bnet rather than here, though assume this is the kind of query that has the same answer regardless of platform, and I'd imagine folks here will be able to provide a more informed answer than if I were to ask around elsewhere. Cheers!
Hi, thanks for the comment! I don't know if it would work as well mid-game as I never tested it that way, never had time to actually play much to do that. That said, I am fairly confident it would be OK since I was very careful about moving markers (things that vanilla quests use) and retaining any connections they have, working around them. I hope you enjoy the mod on your next play! Also I have no idea about xbox. I believe I gave someone else permission to port this iirc and they maintain it.
when using DynDOLOD i'm getting these errors- i know you don't use DynDOLOD but i want to know if these are a result of unused stuff and are safe to remove/ignore, or if i have an issue with my setup that's preventing this files being read and copied.
After checking the mod out, the bed sheet pattern is my most favorite part,... and I love everything else too!
The Candy apples are a close second to the bed comforter pattern on the awesomeness scoreboard.
Winterhold is a home now. Thank you.
