Does this still work for people? I randomly noticed today that it's not working. I've used it for years now so I'm guessing it has to do with all the updating that has been going on lately, but it could just be a me problem.
Update: Long story short, uninstalling and then reinstalling "More powerful mining animations" fixed it. Which is odd, I've had both mods installed for the longest time. Idk why this happened now. At any rate, hope this helps someone. Also If you haven't tried that animation I recommend, it looks great.
This is a simple edit in xEdit. Copy as override 040385BA "DLC2SthalhrimMineOreToolsList" from Dragonborn.esm into this plugin. Then edit the new record to add xx000d62 "aaaToken" to the list. You will see in there that the same edit was done for mineOreToolsList and woodChoppingAxes to make the item work as them.
Super late reply, but just in case someone else comes across this:
This is due to the fact that the plugin is version 40. SSE normally uses v44, but can use older versions just fine as long as certain fields that were modified are fixed. CRDT is one that changed going from v43 (SLE) to v44 (SSE). You can just edit 'CRDT' > 'Effect' to be "NULL..." in xEdit and it will be fine.
This mod stopped working for me. You can do help "token" in the console and then add the weapon "Token" with player.additem. That's all the script in this mod does anyways. For some reason the script won't work on my games anymore regardless of load order (reinstalled and at bottom of load order and still no dice, just happened one day). However the "Token" will not stay in my inventory permanently, anyone know a solution?

any chance you could add this for the 'ancient nordic pickaxe' as well? that way we could mine Stalthrim without carrying that around too.
