The file size may be the same but BC7 compression is far superior to DXT5 in terms of overall quality loss. With BC7 compression, no visual quality is lost while improving performance. The same cannot be said for DXT1/DXT3/DXT5 compression, all of which are Oldrim texture compression formats.
They appear to contain the same textures, so no. If you overwrite Better Water with this then you will get RW2's textures in BC7 format. If you overwrite this with Better Water, you will get whatever format Better Water uses. There's no point in using both.
Edit: NM, I'm going to remove this because it looks like BC7 was the biggy. If for some reason I need this after looking around and checking performance I'll simply reinstall.

how does it save VRAM ? The textures size is the same as DX5.

As of RWT 2.0, the textures are all saved as BC7. Were there any other changes in your mod besides the compression?
