Hi there, with the new version CBBE and Ecotone Dual Sheath support is in the mod, if you find anything jarring please let me know and I will take a look at it, a screenshot and a post in the bugs section is my favorite way to get that information but contacting me on discord or here is fine too. If you feel strongly about some change (like removing unique uniques) or have ideas for improving the mod please put them forward, for now the mod will be under very active development and feedback is always great.

* Model/Texture Replacers are not described as "Incompatible" since whichever is loaded last, will appear in the game without breaking the other mod. But you still have to choose which Texture or Model you'd like to use in the game.
Just give rustic clothing priority overwrite. Calling them incompatible is a stretch. They just replace some of the same textures so let rustic clothing win the conflict.
Also WACCF no longer needs needs a patch anymore now that unique uniques is removed.. there is no plugin and no overwrite.
You're welcome. I try to update it as much as I can. This part is from descriptions: For improved closed-faced helms, you can grab the SkyRealism patch from the Oldrim nexus page to overwrite!
For an alternative to ICH check out Guards Armor Replacer and Heavy Legion.
Regarding Rustic Clothing, I know that whichever is loaded last appears in the game but IMO, in a well-curated gigantic mod like this, it is not a safe bet to overwrite the assets with another gigantic retexture mod. At the very least I don't think it's as easy as comparing textures in mod organizer for this case. Especially since this mod remodels some of the armors, someone should be knowledgable enough to ensure that the meshes use vanilla UV patterns before trying to use rustic textures.
I also am experiencing a bug which I'm not sure is caused by this mod since I have large load-order, can you guys reproduce this? While wearing an Iron Helmet near the whiterun bridge, I realized my shadow on the ground has no head.
Discussion on discord sounded like rustic clothing is perfectly compatible, it will just overwrite the clothing aspect of this mod. I don't think they even change clothing meshes at all... rustic armor may be a different story. Would Guard armor replacer work with cathedral without a patch?
Hello, I see that in the list improved closefaced helmets needs a patch for Cathedral Armory. Could someone please tell me where can I find this patch? I haven't found any on the Nexus.
For any future users checking here: For improved closefaced helmets, patch is in the Oldrim version of improved closefaced helmets. Once downloaded, the option is for Skyrealism Shiny.
I had a quick glance at it. The meshes for weapons and armor are replaced, but not clothes. So if you want to use Rustic Clothing or any other mod that just touches clothes, you should be fine as long as you load it after this mod. For armor & weapons, texture replacers are no good unless the meshes are replaced as well.
Does Cathedral Armory actually cover all vanilla armors and weapons, including (for example) imperial, stormcloak and guard armors, by now? The modpage is sadly not very clear about what is actually included/covered by this mod and whether or not there are still some things missing that need separate mods
I personally think Cathedral Armory has the most impressive and consistent retextures available, unfortunately the imperial armor isn't complete. Hopefully that'll be fixed and maybe we'll see anniversary content in the future.
Does anyone else have a problem with Orcish Greatsword? Its model seems to be affected by parallax. The texture looks weird. All other weapons are fine. It's just Orcish Greatsword.
Why are Armor Mesh Fixes SE and Armor Variants Expansion linked near the bottom of the description? Are they recommended to load after Cathedral Armory? Are any patches needed for those two?

So I'm having trouble with the Steel, Light Steel and Wolf sets. Maybe others, but I'm early in game. They look dull gray and more like brown clay than like steel.
Cathedral Armoury makes them shiny by placing their own SR_Shiny_e.dds etc. cubemaps on them. CBBE conversion retains the CBBE preset, which are the default Shiny_e.dds
Also, CBBE assigns an extra "gray.dds" that is missing in the BSShaderTextureSet of the CA .nifs.
I tried editing the texture assignments in the .nifs to revert them all back to CA default. One time I could get the desired effect, or something like it at least, by editing the .nifs in both CBBE and the CA CBBE Patch and then regenerating the Wolf Set in Bodyslide. But I'm afraid my brain isn't [insert word for smart] enough to cope with the interlacement of it all.

Do you know the specific incompatibility?

Does a patch for ICFH exist?

And is there a patch for Ultimate Spinning Arrows? I'd make one myself if I had the know-how with nifskope, but...I don't.
And in response to a question, I don't think this touches any of the guard armors.
For improved closefaced helmets, patch is in the Oldrim version of improved closefaced helmets. Once downloaded, the option is for Skyrealism Shiny.
I use these alongside Cathedral Armory :
Frankly Stormcloak and City Guards
Stormcloak Armor Revival (without esp from fix)
Frankly Imperial
Frankly Nightingale
Rustic Armor and Weapons (only DB+forsworn)
aMidianBorn Book of Silence Armors (only falmer)
Frankly Dawnguard
(For anyone interested, Cathedral Armory for CC exists but isn't perfect.)
Are any patches needed for those two?
If it's not a replacer, also in xEdit set the mesh path to whatever CA is using. Textures are defined in mesh files themselves, no need to edit.
