Worth noting that since the falmer tome script is in a bsa file it doesn't take priority over other bsa's that may edit the same script further down your load order without explicitly stating it. For anyone that may stumble upon this Vanilla Script (micro)Optimizations is one such mod. Having it as a loose file would allow for easier troubleshooting or otherwise remove the need for any troubleshooting at all.

- Uglarz from the Quest: "A Wife For Mauhulakh" which is added by the mod Cutting Room Floor which restores some unfinished quests. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Unused_NPCs#Uglarz
- https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:The_Unquiet_Dead has some missing markers. Namely the boys journal and the boys sword. Could also add the: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Torn_Page next to Urvals body.
I'm not sure if it was my download, I just downloaded through vortex. but just thought I'd let u know that the quest "return to your roots" gives all errors in Xedit, it says "warning quest alias not found in ..", maybe it's somehow my game or I'm not sure. but it's worth checking if u want
yea sorry that worked. i let my smash patch overwrite this since i saw the warning errors but after copying everything from this to the patch, the warnings were gone. thank you
I'm currently running the Falmer Tomes quest in the Forgotten Vale, and the quest text says "Find Ancient Falmer Tome ([...]/4)," with a [...] instead of a number. It's still playable, but might be worth looking into.
I went into SSEEdit to double-check, and it is not caused by any sort of mod conflict - nothing edits the quest except USSEP, then this mod.
As mentioned in the description, the quest markers added to the Forgotten Vale Books Quest are not retroactive. If the quest has already started when this mod is installed, no new quest marker will appear. Technically this quest is started when you start a new game and not when the objective first appears to the player.

Does this fix the fact that when you have a lot of quest markers active some of them go missing?
