    Sticky
For some mysterious reason it completely refuses to work. Any font mod, actually. I already broke my head trying to figure out why...

UPD: Solved! For Russian version users who forcing the game to be English: just rename "fontconfig.txt" into "fontconfig_ru.txt" and it will start to work properly and fine.

Thanks for the heads-up! Gonna sticky this post in case any other Russian users run into this problem.

This mod isn't packed properly for console. I have plans to Eventually™ port it, but it's been on the backburner for a while now.

Reading this comment, I'm not sure whether yumuss1999 meant that it's not working on Xbox, or that it doesn't work correctly on the in-game command console. I've found that it's entirely useless for the latter, as it just shows a rectangle in place of every character. Not sure which line in the fontconfig.txt I'd need to edit to revert to the correct font for the console.

Strange, command console is working fine for me I just have the default game font in there.

Oh I see, they meant the command console. I feel silly for not realising that, but this mod doesn't touch the console font whatsoever. If you're seeing boxes instead of text, chances are it's another mod causing that.

If only this great mod worked with console... Amazing mod anyway.

Are you referring to the in-game command console? Are you getting rectangles instead of characters there?

Was this font added to conversations as well? Like when talking to an NPC

Yep! Everywhere you see the default UI font will use this font instead. This does not include books and such.

I know the description mentions incompatibility with other font mods, but just to be clear, does this mod cover UI only or books and notes as well? I would like to use 12th Century Bookfonts with this one, to be specific. I would test it myself but SE is to be installed on a PC I will be building once I receive the case.

This mod only touches UI, not books or notes or anything else, so you should be fine to use both :)

I can hide it for you if you want? It won't technically be deleted but no one will be able to see it anymore, even me.

A very elegant font, thanks for the port. On the default Skyrim UI I think I still prefer the vanilla font, but this font pairs super well with the paper texture of Dear Diary. Complements the cozy paper-journal feel of DD, while still being functional and doesn't draw too much attention to itself, which is a hard needle to thread.

Never felt the need to change the font of Skyrim but had a go at this one anyway and boy or girl, was I in for a surprise at how much this changes the experience. Beautiful.
Thanks a lot for sharing this

I included every character that came with the font, including characters for foreign languages, so all I can really say is Polish might be supported. You'll just have to try it out and see. I'm sorry, that's the best I can offer you.

There appear to be some errors in these files. I don't know if they affect how they work in the game or not, but I'm OCD enough to want to report them.

I downloaded both versions, and I opened the .swf file in JPEX to change the FPS to 60. However, when I opened the main file, I couldn't view the header, and JPEX gave me this:

    Spoiler:
    Show

When I open the .swf file for the alternate version (the one with nothing in the zero), I once again could not view the header, and JPEX gave me this:

    Spoiler:
    Show

Yeah, I ... have no idea what any of this means, haha. I actually know very little about how any of this works - font making and SWF files etc. - I just really wanted this font in game so I figured out the most basic of basics to get it working lol. I wouldn't concern myself with these errors, though, as no one's reported any actual issues (besides squares showing in place of letters, which just means the letter in question isn't part of the font).
