seems an interesting weird mod, but game crash everytime I take the water stone and turn camera... with both versions. I had to give up. Also I had to start the quest myself setstage aaaidsomething to 10. I hope it will get fixed, the island seems to have that "dated" look of old mods that tried to impress with what they could, if you know what I mean, too many different meshes and textures put togheter, but still it looked nice enough and interesting. I hope it will get fixed.
The door to Aulbryn's house is invisible - I have the prompt to interact with it, and it has collision, but if I try to, I just hear the door opening noise, then nothing happens. If I try interacting with the door again, I don't even hear the door noise - I have to go far enough away to unload the house and come back before it will play the noise again, though it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any idea what's going on, or how I can fix it?
I just found this bug and determined a solution (at least for getting the quest to start, haven't played further).
This problem is due to Vortex assuming that the 1.3 patch is in fact instead a complete 1.3 version update, which means it disables the ~100MB of 1.2 files you probably just installed that the 1.3 patch needs to rely on.
To fix this, I grabbed the .esp from the 1.3 update manually, zipped it up in a file named e.g. voyage-to-the-dreamborne-1.3-patch.zip so I could keep straight what it was in my modlist, and loaded it into Vortex via the "install from file" option. If you've already tried to install the 1.3 update, you'll also have to find the original mod in Vortex's mod list and switch back to version 1.2, which you should be able to do just by clicking the version number. Make sure any files get overridden appropriately.
The above enabled the NPC to look and sound correct, give me the key, and trigger the quest to start.
In order to get the first quest started, I had to use console commands. Borlan was in the outer cell-void, probably thanks to Holds SSE changing the frozen hearth. I just tfc'd and looked around and got his reference ID & typed Prid <refID> & moveto player <ref> into the console.
This is the best mod in its class, definitely. I have never seen anything more beautiful. But I catch CTD in the "axis of the world". Most likely dyndolod or ENB.
