Of course you didn't notice a difference- this "patch" only changes weather probabilities. Bruma references vanilla weather formid's. Obsidian uses the same formid's for its weathers, so no patch is needed.
Some weird think author should be informed to, I guess. I tried to sort my load order with LOOT (using MO2) and got an error msg that it is ESL and should have ObsidianWeather.esp enabled (which I had enabled) otherwise sorting is not possible. When I loaded it in SSEEdit to there was no flag ESL (no any flags at all), so I have put flag "localized" and now LOOT is not complaining any more and sorting fine.
I'm a nutter for consistency across my game so this interests me, but I'm wondering how it interacts if I'm also using True Storms, Audio Overhaul, and the patches to make those play nicely with Obsidian weathers.
I had to use the xEdit program to remove the ESL header, Nexus Mod Manager wouldn't let me change my load order as long as this plugin was installed yet works fine as soon as that header is removed.
I spoke with Mator he said Merge Plugin cannot properly handle ESL file even if it is an ESP flagged as an ESL. However, unflagging an ESP as an ESL is a very simple process of opening the mod in xEdit and unticking ESL in the mods file header this will turn back into a proper esp and thus you will be able to merge it using merge Plugins. I have heard that Mator's new zMerge is now in Beta and that will have esl files.
