This mod consist on a sequence of tweaks, fix and base adjustments to make of Serana the best follower ever because she is truly the best Bethesda implemented follower in the game.
We start by fixing the spell system of Serana which is weak to say the least:
- Remove all leveled reanimation spells from Serana
- Remove all leveled drain life spells from Serana
Fixing combat follower system:
Serana has an issue that is shared by all followers that use SetPlayerTeammate follower system. Under some circumstances (enough frequent) Serana keep sneaking after the combat end.
Pure vanilla followers (those using PotentialFollowerFaction/CurrentFollower Faction) dont have this issue at all!
However Serana, Cicero, DB Initiates, Mercer Frey in Snow Veil Sanctum and most custom followers have this problem.
Installation
Copy the batches files in Skyrim main directory (the one containing Skyrim executables) and while in-game trigger the console (usually by pressing tilde hotkey) then type:
bat mybatch
where mybatch.txt is one of the batches files copied in the main directory.
Tips: choose a shorter name for the batch file like 00.txt, 0s.txt ... if you like so you can easily remember them
