   So after being frustrated to no end and disabling/enabling every single mod I have in order to diagnose the issue, I discovered that this mod removes my Khajiit and Argonian characters' tails. It fills that slot. Taking it off also fixes the missing tail problem.
   
   Is there any way to fix that?

      Edit the mod's ESP in SSEdit, choose another slot, and save the ESP. And play.
