If you are experiencing instability with respect to BodyMorph feature try disabling these options in skee64.ini, or skee64_custom.ini Version 0.4.19.10 change regarding plugin registration:
Plugins requesting SKEE's interfaces should do so after all plugins load (PostPostLoad event) to ensure that SKEE was loaded first. The reason this change was made was to enforce this, but obviously ceases to work for plugins that violate this.
SKSE loads DLL plugins in sequence and discovers them via OS calls where their order is non-deterministic (coincidentally alphanumeric?), this is problematic when you want to retrieve information from a plugin that technically hasn't loaded yet.
Version 0.4.19.11 adds a new option to skee64.ini (or skee64_custom.ini) to effectively revert this change but is OFF by default: bEnableEarlyRegistration This should restore functionality to plugins that attempt to retrieve SKEE's interfaces too early and fail as a result.
1. for anyone use racemenu game version 1.6.1170 but it does run still looks vanilla, just extract RaceMenu.bsa with bae or (caterdal for those who understand) and put the output folder in the original racemenu.
2. for anyone use racemenu gog version 1.6.1179 just downlod patch for this UploadIO or Mega and instal with mo2 or vortex place blow in racemenu.
Hello, I did extract Racemenu.bsa with bae and a few new folders and files appeared but I don't know what you mean by the output folder? Which file or files do I have to copy in the original racemenu? Do i have to put them all in their respective game folders? Thanks for your help.
OK! I copy them all and it's working now! Thank you! I new a lot of files were missing like Chargen, NiOverride ect... it is weird that we have to extract all these to get the new Racemenu to work. Thanks again bro!
Hi there. Followed your instructions, but nothing changed. Tried installing and uninstalling, used bae extraction and selected the mod file like you said. Nothing. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, not an expert in modding. I would just uninstall it, but XPMSE needs it. No idea what to do. Nope, definitely use SkyUI. I use BethINI Pie also, but otherwise no, not made any changes to any .ini files as far as I know. Seriously perplexed as to why this mod has stopped working or what is different now compared to a month or two ago. ChatGPT suggested it could be because of camera related mods, but when they're disabled it still doesn't show up. Apparently RaceMenu needs to show up in the Plugins folder within Data\SKSE, but it isn't there even though it is fully installed via Vortex - like before.
i'm having a hard time understanding, but i REALLY want this mod to work. what do you mean by 'and instal with mo2 or vortex place blow in racemenu.'? also, if i install the dll with vortex, it conflicts with the original mod file. can you please help out with this?
I'm also having an issue with the non-GOG racemenu, and unfortunately extracting Racemenu.bsa with BAE hasn't had the desired effect: instead of adding the missing menu features my game instead now instantly crashes the second the customization menu opens. :/

NVM - I used Cathedral to unpack. Still trying to get my modlist to work. Be careful what you copy from the older copy into the new folder, or your game won't start!

1. Locate RaceMenu.bsa (Usually located in basefolder/mods/RaceMenu/RaceMenu.bsa) 2. Run the tool called Bethesda Archive Extractor (BSA) 3. Drag RaceMenu.bsa into BSA 4. Set the output folder to where you found RaceMenu.bsa Example: basefolder/mods/RaceMenu/
At this point, it should be working
If you are still seeing the vanilla racemenu after doing the above: 5. Check ModOrganizer if anything is overwriting RaceMenu An example of a mod that overwrites RaceMenu is Complete Widescreen Fix for Vanilla and SkyUI In this case, I reinstalled the mod and enabled the setting to have RaceMenu

Edit: I read old posts here where it said to copy the json presets into RaceMenu. So I copied all the presets in my modlist to the RaceMenu Presets folder (Racemenu\SKSE\Plugins\chargen\Presets) and still no presets are available.
I give up. I've been trying to fix all this for the past 2 weeks with no result at all, except for a very complicated "create your character" (which is why I wanted to use a preset). I just can't anymore.
EDIT: I figured it out by systematically removing one mod at a time. The quest journal fixes patch for SkyUI breaks the racemenu mod. Vortex does not detect a conflict, so you can't adjust load order, but if you have the fix installed, Racemenu does nothing.
I am so sorry to be this daft, but I am unable to make it work. Using vortex and SKSE 2.2.6. Followed the steps above. Extracted the file to the same directory, have 0 file conflicts in Vortex, so nothing overwrites Racemenu, and I still don't see anything. This is obviously me misunderstanding something, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?
I've been having issues where my game CTDs whenever I try to export a headmesh .nif. Anyone have ideas as to what might be the cause of the issue? it was working fine until a few weeks ago.
I cant get any of the paint menus to appear. The only menu I am managing to get to show up is the makeup menu. I am using the SE 4-16 if that can give anyone even an idea of what my problem could be.
$SOLUTION: "Activate it" means after installing the mod, you need to go to plugins in you mod manager and activate both Race Menu plagins. Dollar signs are gone now, and all the menus show as doctor ordered.
to anyone and everyone complaining about mod authors being lazy schmucks for not updating mods when you demand them to be: Picture this. Imagine YOU are the mod author. How would you feel if people started coming at you the way you are going after others? Idk about you, but this behavior would very sorely tempt me to pull all of my mods and tell you all to go f*#@ yourselves. Mod authors have lives just like we do, and this level of dipshittery doesn't make their lives any better, or easier.

NPC seems to be able to use them but could be just the build in eye from NPC overhaul mods
Any vanilla eye replacer also seems to work, just anything adding new eyes never show up in racemenu
