Whenever i equip a guard armor ( female character ), i immediately CTD. Disabling the female cuirass meshes ( cuirassf_1.nif, cuirassf_0.nif) in MO2 partially solves the issue, male guards use the armor, but i can't use the mod's meshes for my character. Any ideas? -Not using body mods.
To anyone who has issues with the 'CBBE Stormcloak Armor with Sleeves' for females not appearing right in Bodyslide (sleeves not showing and missing arm textures), then there is a simple solution.
Note: When following the instructions below, make sure not to change any other data apart from what is mentioned.
1. Open 'Outfit Studio' and select 'File'->'Load Project'. 2. Select 'CBBE Vanilla Physics.osp' if you're using physics, or 'CBBE Vanilla.osp' if you're not. 3. In the selection box, scroll to and select 'CBBE Vanilla - Body - Stormcloaks Sleeves' for the version you selected above. The project should load. 4. In the upper right hand window pane you should see 'CBBE' in green and 'StormCloakF'. Click on 'StormCloakF' so it's highlighted and then right-click it and select 'Properties' at the bottom of the selection box. A 'Shape Properties' window should open. 5. In the lower half of the window you should see the 'Transparency' section. Change the 'Threshold' value to '0' (zero). Click 'Ok' to close the window. 6. You should now see sleeves on your outfit. (phew!) 7. Click 'File'->'Save Project'. Close Outfit Studio and Bodyslide completely and then reopen Bodyslide and then bodyslide the outfit as you normally would.
Everything in-game should now appear properly for that outfit. For anyone interested, the 'Threshold' value that was changed is used for outfits that have transparent parts that let you see the body behind them (like chainmail or lace). As this is a 'closed' outfit, there isn't any need for transparency values.
The original texture file for this outfit shows the sleeves without changing any values. While the original and this mods' textures appear to be similar, there is definitely some issue with transparency in the new textures. I am not entirely certain what exactly that might be.
Came back to the game after a year and there was the good ole missing arms again lol.
It is the texture. The clothing meshes are actually there, but are transparent because the wrong texture is being used and only covers a fraction of the arm. The arm of the body is zapped by outfit studio to prevent the arm clipping through the sleeve, essentially making it invisible.
I couldn't find the right texture, so the only way I could fix it was to open the bodyslide for that outfit in Outfit Studio, remove the zap slider for the body and make a new body zap slider and saved. I remade the bodyslide for the outfit and it looks ok now, however it's got short sleeves instead of long.
If anyone here is like me and prefers the white-furred gloves and boots as shown in the screenshots, you need the textures from the 1.21 version of the original mod over on the Skyrim LE page. Those are just retextures of the default gloves and boots, so you can delete the glove and boot meshes from this mod.
So I tried using this mod in conjunction with this mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5943?tab=posts&BH=0 Sometimes it works great, but I noticed some weird things. Some armors don't get sleeves (Winterhold, Riften), and it also seems to conflict with Immersive Armors somehow. The Nord Mail Heavy Colf that guards wear seems to be labeled as footwear, causing guards to unequip the fur boots. I would love a patch between this mod and the sleeved mod if possible if someone made it, but yeah I totally get if the author is busy.

Anyway, I hope this helps.
Edit: Nope it didnt. I tried removing the meshes folder of this mod and it still didn't work. The texture from this mod is what's causing this.
