hmm, maybe a loadorder issue? I could imagine a mod referencing the crate from the house or a landscape overhaul being the issue? try loading my mod after those or even last in your LO.
ESLified ESP-FE Replacer of this mod with included March of the Dead Quest start fix created by me , found Here . Keep in mind you can not swap the plugins mid save , and if you have any patches for the original plugin they are not going to be compatible. Read the Description Page. All Credit goes to TWarrior , i just used the open modification perms to fix and modernize the Plugin.
Thank you for your work! Writing my PHD thesis and having a 5 month old now didn't leave me with much time to attempt any fixes to the mod. Glad you picked it up. That's what open permissions are for afterall :)
Youre Welcome , sure real life stuff has priority after all , i hope youre doing fine. A 5 month old takes up a lot of your time and demands a lot of attention and effort from your side , my kid is already 14 years old , so i got a bit more time on my hand now. For now im just glad you arent angry , when i saw your mod i just absolutely had to get it into my game , great work you did there. ^^ Friend of mine patched up the Navmesh now too , and i made 2 patches for Ghost of Tribunal and Legacy of the Dragonborn. So from my side im done. Im not all that knowledged about handleing Nexus and i dont have to much time either , but if i did everything right , you should actually have perms to Edit and or even take over the Modpage i opened , so when / if you come back to modding and want to make edits to it , feel free to do so. You dont need to ask its your original work after all.
Again thank you. Also as far as I'm concerned you did set up everything correctly. I do have editing permission but will not make use of it as I am pretty sure I won't have time to actually do more with the mod and your fixes. Maybe I will return for Starfield modding though, so I am not fully gone from the Nexus :)
I was having the same problem. It has something to do with the Location data in this mod. I ended up removing that entire section with SSEEdit, then had to do some null refs cleanup. Definitely not the correct way to fix this, as I'm sure by removing the location data I probably broke some of the "home" features of this mod, but for me personally I prefer to have the quest fixed and the farm as visual interest / landmark rather than a player home. I tested with ASLAL as a dunmer, choosing the Raven Rock refugee start before my Location removal, then again started a new Dunmer refugee after making my changes and Veloth and the Ash Spawn were present.
Thanks for this! It adds some nice architectural diversity to Solstheim
A few things I noticed:
- Sadly it seems there's no lod for these buildings - There's an ash shader for the main house's roof but not the tower (also there's no way to get inside the tower?) - I personally remove the staff enchanter from inside the house as it seems bit cheat-y to me, just my personal opinion
I really like having this as an option for a player home. It makes me nostalgic for Oblivion.
