This mod might single-handedly prevent me from completing Skyrim's main quest. Daedra? Please. Draugr? Child's play. But this? I won't be going anywhere near Bleak Falls Barrow in the near future.
I generally try to avoid 2k textures because of my slow pc and the fact that I don't have an impressively high-res monitor. However, I agree that Bethesda's poor scaling up of original textures was a flop (and these pics are beautiful).
Will my FPS take a hit when I'm surrounded by a swarm of Frostbiters?
Not likely to lose FPS as I am also on a potato and I have some of my stuff 4k even and dont lose any but adding lots of high textures to lots of things will slow you down a bit.
