I think reshade is working and your presets are loaded, just started a new game and could barely see anything it was so dark?

OK so no disrespect to mod creator ofc they know loads more about this stuff, and definitely agree this preset looks amazing outdoors, but it is game breaking in poorly lit areas. Even with a torch you can't see anything at all. To anyone who wants just a brighter more colourful game without messing with shadows and light etc, try making a new reshade preset with either "colorfulness" or "technicolor2" enabled. I did this with realistic lighting overhaul and I'm happy with the result. Or simply tweak up the color saturation and brightness on your tv/monitor (no FPS loss...)

There is no order you have to have it in. You just install Reshade. You download Reshade from the link, open it up and find Skyrim. Have it install using Direct3D 10+ and then it will ask what filers to use. You can choose either all, or the specific ones I have listed. Place the .ini file into your skyrim folder, and load up Skyrim. When it loads up hit shift+F2 to bring up the Reshade menu. Where you put in the preset name you put in the name of this one, without the .ini. It will load it all up.

The way I got it to work:

      1. Exported the reshade profile to a folder
      2. Installed OP reshade download
      3. After install and finishing the tutorial for Reshade, I clicked the plus and typed in the directory for the exported profile and file name
      4. ???
      5. Profit

      Hope it helps

To the author, I simply love this Reshade and thanks for uploading it.

Do you have the .ini right in the skyrim folder? If so all you needed to do was type in the general name and it should of picked it right up. I will make a small video on this tomorrow. For those that are having difficulty. I don't have time to tonight. Sorry.

      Thanks for all your help!
my window is empty bud the path was automaticly found, and one part of the ReShade Window is red. the *ini i have in main menue from game.

Question: in the search bar comes the names like Adaptive Sharpen
      Bloom
      Clarity
      Curves
      LumaSharpen ...etc

and then "enter"? Because at me, nothing happend.

ps: Sorry for bad English. - german

When you first open it up the thing has a slight "tutorial" you go through. You just click to follow it, and when it asks for a preset name just put in the name of mine. Just follow the tutorial the rest of the way and it should have it all loaded up. I will be making a quick video later today on how to do it, and I will link it in here for you when it is done.
