      Sometimes, if he isn't on the ship, you can find him at the very back of Aventia Island in the tavern. It confused the living daylights out of me as well.

    Greetings! Many thanks to the author for such a wonderful creation! I really liked the mod! Wonderful tropical island atmosphere! Interesting side quests with different endings! It’s very good that the voice acting is in beautiful French! I understand that the request is banal, but I would still like to see a continuation of this excellent work. And it would also be very nice if the main quest had several endings.

    removing my endorsment, it has been years and not even an answer to tell us about progress. Discord channel completely frozen. project is clearly dead and the author is sadly not willing to proceed. I am sad cause i loved it :(

      He made a response on his discord on the 28th, the process is just slow right now as he doesn't have much time to work on it.

      yes but the 28th of january, i understand it's slow, i am just sad. he could write something and not only post random screenshots, maybe ask for help too. I don't know, i feel like it's never going to end it. i hope i am wrong ofc

      It was actually on the 28th of June of this year under general-maslea stating that he was okay and that he had less time. Considering we're still reeling from the global pandemic, it's not impossible that things would be rough for him right now and that he needs to get his priorities in order first before he can put more effort into working on this mod.

      @Aromov Bro its 2023 the Pandemic was over in 2021. you could have just said he doesn't have time which he probably doesn't.

      how about you start paying mod creators to spend their time, money, and energy on making something. NO one owes you anything, this was a work of passion for FREE, and you're complaining. How about you learn to make mods and show us how it should be done hmm?

    If anyone is having difficulty with texture mismatches between stonewalls, especially near riverwood, this mod edits StoneWallIvy01's base.

    Just finished the main quest, but still a few quests to finish. I am totally lost about the staff to find for the quest "au bord de la folie" (on the verge of craziness ?). Apparently I need a staff to open the passage where the guy went, absolutely no idea where to find it, probably because I started a few quests at the same time, and I forgot the beginning of this one.

    Anyway the main weak point for me are the cutscenes which keep on having problems, and require tricks at the console to go on. It might be a conflict with something, but absolutely no idea what. Except that the world is quite stunning, even if there are a few surprising details : the panthers you meet are very weak for some panthers, but oh well... and some parts of the landscape feel really too geometric if you avoid the roads and cut through the wilderness. Also I have used a lot of magic to go from an island to the other (walk on water) and there was an invisible wall preventing me from going further at some point. Since I was trying to reach the target of a quest, I just used tcl to go through and it worked, it was just weird.
    Some interesting ideas. I liked the quest where we try to rescue a guy in his nightmare, but he stayed too long there and can't really be saved in the real world, a little pity because it was not easy to get there, but the idea was rather good (and when you think that a single priest was apparently able to do that to a whole army, you wish not to fight this person if possible !)
    Ah also during the final dialog with Carlina I had the lower part of the screen blinking all the time, no idea why. At the end of the dialog everything returned to normal, so it's just a detail.

    Too bad we can't visit the biggest town of the islands finally, and I guess it's very hard to finish !
    Ah also in the unfinished quests, the "little service" where the player must speak to the captain of the guards. There is no way to convince this guy of anything, I have more than 80 in speech, and it's impossible to convince or intimidate him, so I am stuck in this one too,.
    And of course I am stuck at the one where they ask a sigil stone, too low level for that.

    For the main quest, it feels a little like some tour of the islands, we are taken from places to places without understanding everything, we need to join the rebels without really knowing them... I particularly liked the part where the player wakes just before the ceremony without equipment, I wondered if it was a dream, and it takes quite a while to be sure we are not in a dream ! Anyway even if the main quest is not my preferred quest of the mod, it does the job of sending us around the islands to discover the world and it's quite stunning for sure.

    Hope you'll be able to make a part 2 one day then !
    (I have nothing against Carlina's french voice, but the recording is sometimes very low and sometimes very loud, some normalization would be good).

      Thank you for sharing your impressions and pointing out problems. It can take some time until someone responds. The massive amount of work needed to finish Chapter 2, and RL obligations for everyone involved, is slowing things down. On anthelius' Discord server you have a slightly higher chance to get a reaction.

      The staff you need is the Wabbajack, one of Sheogorath's artifacts. You can obtain it through a vanilla quest (talk to the madman in the streets of Solitude, then explore the Pelagius Wing in the Blue Palace).

      Cutscenes can be problematic in general. They are prone to break due a variety of causes. For example, when an actor can't reach their destination spot, or when the scene gets interrupted by combat. Other quest mods have had their share of troubles with them as well, Maslea is not alone in that regard. Certainly more safeguards can still be added, but I think finishing Ch.2 content is anthelius' priority right now.

      The invisible walls on the water are there to keep you from reaching certain islands too early, which could break quest progression. Normally you should never be forced to waterwalk, there are boat traveling services on every island/region.

      That you can't persuade the guard captain in "a little service", it's a bug. The dialogue is checking for the captain's speechcraft instead of the player's. I had submitted a fix at one point, but somehow it got reverted in a later update. If you wear the Amulet of Articulation (Thieves Guild questline), then persuasion will always succeed.

      Argh, that's what I believed for the staff, I took the wabbajack from the museum (after doing the vanilla quest), tried to activate it on the stone, no result !
      I have tried firing it at many places around the entrance because I was almost sure it was this one, it never worked.
      Unless there is another way to use it...

      For the water walk yeah I guess there were boats, but since by default in my game fast travel is disabled, it takes quite a while to find where the boat is. Since I have a ring to increase my walking speed, I just walked on water, it was faster than finding the boat !

      Amulet of articulation ? I didn't know this one, but I guess it's not easy to get it ! I'll take a look, thanks for the info anyway.
      Ah yes you get it at the end of the thieves guild quest, never noticed it was so special before.
      Actually for this case it's probably easier to just change the speechcraft stat of the captain here, from what you say it should be set to a higher stat then, I'll experiment...
      edit : yeah, click on him setav speechcraft 90, then convince, then eventually set back his speechcraft to 15 as it was. Plus this quest was minor, it was a lot of trouble for nothing.

      Yeah I had posted 1st to the discord server, but it got no reaction in 2 days, and it's easier to check the posts here, so... !

      For the cut scenes yeah I know it's a skyrim bug. it's probably a good idea not to use this too much then. I know the mod "anna npcs" from there ?https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1163 is using a special power given to the player to be able to interrupt a stuck cut scene. I don't know how she did that, but it's not bad. Just an idea !

      After some investigation, my waabjack effect is edited by "reliquary of myth" there : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31612?tab=logs I'll start by updating it because I had an old version, and see what I can do...

      edit : using the guy who stands near the stone as the key... I finally found since nothing else worked ! Tsss... I finally reached the guy, but he is behind the same kind of force field as Valerica in the soul cairn, but contrary to Valerica he doesn't try to speak to me when I approach. Everything can cross the force field though, spells, arrows... there is a non aggressive monster behind him, it's possible to kill it this way, but it doesn't do anything. Nobody has any dialog about this. Some crazy stuff I didn't think about yet ?
      Anyway this is an amazing part of the mod, the shivering isles in skyrim, it goes even farther than the creation club about saints and seducers... And the seducer inside is here to build some kind of player home here, but she has no topic about this force field neither... Stuck again, it would seem !

      By the way the big domain you can buy if you side with the ghost, it's 150 000 soldis, which makes 50 000 septims if I am correct, for something big, but far from everything important, so absolutely not convenient at all ! I know money is cheap in skyrim, but here it really looks like a waste, unless there's more than something nice, but totally useless ?

      Wait, so "a little service" is in fact bugged? I thought it was intended that you can't persuade him no matter what and you needed to have Smooth Talker Amulet in order to be able to finish this quest. I left that quest and went doing other side quests and once I was rewarded with that amulet(don't remember which one gives it though) and read it's description I immediately thought of a little service quest.

      Yes, the Smooth Talker amulet is another way to convince him. I didn't mention it because it's very hard to obtain itself (you have to be a master conjurer to get the Sigil Stone). But if you look into the ESM, you see that he's meant to be persuaded the normal way as well. There's just a condition in his dialogue that points to the wrong person.

      Thx for this advise. I had quite the same "problem" with the wabbajack on this gate. But in my case the effect of the staff was modified by ZIM artifacts. That was the last weapon on the list of destroyed artifacts from that mod. I can't recommend the use of ZIM. After disable that mod the wabbajack works again.
