So for everyone interested here's an update on not this mod, but the ability of this mod. You can find an option to change spells to homing spells in the True Directional Movement Mod and thus making this mod no longer needed. It works amazingly and is honestly one of the best mods out there now simply for that feature alone.
It is near the bottom under the Target Lock tab. Missed it for like a week now, and you can apparently even do the same thing with arrows, but I don't do that personally. Magic homing is enough for me.
I teach and supervise student projects at an Institute of Technology; I'm going to ask if a team of Computer Science students would like to dig into the souce code and update the plugin.
Thank you and good luck! This mod became super necessary with the dark souls modding approach, with lock on specifically. I hope you guys will succeed!
Sorry about the lack of updates guys, but we are indeed working on it, the start of our university's project is just a bit slow and consisted on planning our work and working as professionals would, assigning tasks, figuring out how and when to do things, etc. However we've moved on to another phase and are currently working on the code.
Hopefully we'll be able to give everyone a working mod soon, thank you for your patience.
If yall could find a way to have this support spells added by mods (like apocolypse, arcanum, elemental destruction, cosmic spells, triumvirate, path of sorcery) and maybe even include a perk for vanilla and ordinator (and other trees) that grants the ability (and maybe scripting that gives it to high level mages?) that would be cool too. perhaps two versions one that just adds it in for the player and one that adds it as a perk. just some ideas if yall end up having the time and the inclination to continue development.
Hi is this still supported ? Not working because it needs an update, would be great to test it with the Mod The Wizard Warrior. Anyway happy Holidays !

I've wondered about being better able to avoid damaging followers, and this would definitely help.

However, the good news is, that they have left permission to modify and update the mod.
