2.0: Not really a massive update, just fixing and changing up some stuff. I'm not going to continue the work on all the optional files from previous versions, so don't ask for it. Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch is now a hard-requirement, so it doesn't need any patches. DynDOLOD is required for proper DistandLOD generation. Compatibility patches from other mods should work same as before, since I didn't add/change much stuff. 2.0.1: small update, added esm flag for better compatibility with DynDOLOD 3.0+
The "hundreds of rock/mountain object" placements interferes with several modded pathways, entrances and locations :( I didn't notice any conflicts with the other objects from this mod btw, only with the mountain additions.
If anyone is wondering whether to install this or not, don't. It's a mess of a mod. Invisible barriers and physically blocking access to certain quests and locations. Compability issues with a lot of mods as well as CC content.
This mod doesn't add any invisible barriers. You probably have a conflict. Mod authors can't be expected to know every mod you install into your load order.
It sounds like the culprit is a mod that touches rocks or mountains. Maybe Majestic Mountains or a similar mod.
1. Vanilla game, USSEP and this mod still create invisible barriers... "must be some other mod conflicting" 2. There used to be a bug page but the author removed it because it was filled with bugs and made downloading undesirable. 3. Let's forget 1 and 2 now, the author literally recommends highly to use Majestic Mountains... not that I use it.
Enhanced Landscapes adds collision (and navcut?) boxes that are sometimes a lot larger than the covered object. You can see them visualized in the CK. They do hinder movement like an insivible barrier, just check out the the fallen trees on the Whiterun side of the river when you start at the meadery. NPCs regularly get stuck on these collision boxes when you use stuff like ICAIO (even with the compatibility patch) and the player movement is blocked by these boxes as well.
I really like Enhanced Landscapes, but its many small problems do warrant a makeover so massive I can absolutely understand not wanting to more or less redo it again and leave it as it is.
I think there is an AE patch floating around somewhere in the comment section on the nexus. I do have it downloaded, so it must have been shared at one point.
seems a compatibility nightmare, or somethings going wrong. rocks and all sorts are blocking bandit camps and gates - wouldnt say its worth the trouble.
If you want to make sure you retain as much details from enhanced landscapes and both new mods, load new mods one by one after EL, check xedit for conflicts, open CK, move to the cell where there's conflict/or just cell change, check how it looks, adjust if necessary, and add another mod. A lot of labor. If you just want most features of this mod while dont mind that some things get overwritten, load this mod early before other mods.
I'm having a major lod issue in Morthal's swamp. When I install the barren marsh option, all I get is a bunch of flat, 2D LODs being generated. Anyone know why?
Trying to figure out where this falls under. I used a Youtube video as reference for trying new mods here: https://youtu.be/pPHTJo-d2YY
As far as the Visuals and Graphics go, I'm using the following: Happy Little Trees & Shrubs Majestic Mountains Enhanced Landscapes Folkvangr Noble Skyrim Realistic Water Two
In the area past Valtheim Towers & at the Bridge next to Hillgrund's Tomb, I noticed a section of the River was missing water. https://imgur.com/a/L0o7mx9
Is anyone familiar of this type of error & know how to fix? So far this is the only one spotted on my playthrough. Thanks.
To fix Frostmoon Crag being cut in half, go to [Enhanced Landscapes]024718 and flag Initially Disabled (preferably in a patch). I was unable to clear the way to Red Scar Cavern since the terrain has been changed as well (it's not just a mountain blocking it, but the slope of the ground itself).
This mod will unblock the entrance for Bloodchill Cavern if you are using Majestic Mountains as well as this mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/72618
