This patch doesn't work for me and I'm not sure why. I'm using the bsa archive version of Apophysis and the masks still look like vanilla when I'm wearing them, even though their skyui menu preview shows the correct modded look. I've tested on a character that already had the masks in his inventory. Could that be the issue?
I did, at the time when I wrote this, but I also had WAACF and MLU installed, so I think that might have been the reason. Now after a clean reinstall and a new character, those two mods are disabled and the patch worked, although only when I'm wearing it. The dragon priests have the vanilla models on them, but that's good enough for me.
Edit: Now that I've created a Bashed Patch, I know why it wasn't working before. The bashed patch needs to include this patch otherwise the masks will use vanilla models because of the mods that are in the leveled lists. I'm writing this in case someone has the same problem I did. Just uncheck the Automatic option in the Leveled List section when rebuilding the bashed patch in Wrye Bash, then you'll be able to add the Apophysis-ICH patch.
heres what i did to make this patch work. for reference i was trying to get Apophysis, Improved Closefaced Helmets, and sneak tools to all work together. i went into sseedit and opened each esp and told it to use the world model from this mod, and the effect from sneak tools (hides your identity when worn). tested it out myself and it works perfectly. i used my female char ( there isn't a female world model in this esp, its just missing for some reason) and the only mask that doesn't have eye holes is the wooden mask and Miraak's mask and thats fine with me cause i feel that Miraak should have that mysteriousness to him.
Hi, can you explain how to tell sseedit to use the world model for Apophsis, when using it with Improved Closefaced Helmets? I'm really not that good with sseedit.
Yeah, I'd like some guidance on this as well. I have all three mods listed by puffen0 but I've never done anything w/ "world model" so I don't really know what he's talking about. If anyone would be willing to guide me I'd be grateful.
hey so i have both ICH and ADPM installed correctly with your patch but my head still disappears when wearing one of the mask. heres my lo https://pastebin.com/XPi2Usti
It's almost sacrilege to deface those gorgeous works of art but I'm glad you did xD ICH is so instrumental to immersion and these masks are the most beautiful textures I think I've ever seen so it would be tragic to have to give up either one! Thanks again!
