Confirmed: The "Footprints" mod has an issue with ENB. It has footprint textures with surrounding snow, but the snow wasn't made transparent. When ENB is installed, even if disabled, you end up with a tile of an alternate snow texture with each footprint. Please contact Boris or the author of footprints to solve the problem. This problem occurs with other snow mods as well.
After a quick test this seems to be the first, and so far only, snow mod that could truly compete with Nordic Snow. Unfortunately there seems to be a "floating snow" incompatibility with No Snow Under The Roof. That is, there are weird transparency gaps in the textures. This is easily identified in, for example, Dawnstar, where it occurs on the wooden dock, and on the steps leading up to the houses.
Unfortunately there's not an easy fix for that. The meshes for No Snow Under the Roof (NSUTR) have transparency enabled, but use snow01.dds instead of snow01alta.dds, as is more common for small snow drifts. That causes the odd look you are seeing with Cathedral Snow. In order to fix this, we'd have to use a completely different alpha for the snow textures, which would dramatically change their look.
Probably a better fix would be to disable transparency (remove the NiAlphaProperty) from the necessary NSUTR meshes, such as all the various *_groundsnow.nif meshes. Or use snow01alta.dds for these and edit the NiAlphaProperty properties accordingly. But there are a lot of meshes involved and the permissions on NSUTR aren't clear. So someone would need to contact Prometheus to see if he would permit creating a patch by editing his meshes and then perform these edits. That's outside the scope of the Cathedral Snow mod. But thank you for bringing this to our attention, I've stickied this post to note this incompatibility.
It's night time and the bridge outside Saarthal is bright white instead of blending in with the snow. This occurs on the rocks to my immediate left as well.
I'm guessing I have a bug, but I don't know whether it's caused by Cathedral Snow, Cathedral Landscapes, Majestic Mountains or who knows what.
Do I need to install an extra snow mod? Remove a conflict? I checked the references and there are no listed mods that apply to them. Edit: Installing Better Dynamic Snow and changing load order to put Cathedral Landscapes as overwriting Cathedral Snow seems to have helped. Now I have a different issue with LODs though, must have got my orders wrong somewhere with Dyndolod. Ugh.
Edit: Fixed per the read me in Majestic Mountains. I replaced projecteddiffuse snow texture from snow mod into MM Main File (fixed the LODs) and added bEnableImprovedSnow=0 to SkyrimPrefs ini (seems to have helped generally).
I don't know what I'm talking about but it looks like both Cathedral Landscapes and Cathedral Snow don't pass through the SnowMatShader.nif from Majestic Mountains. Wondering if I should change my load order for some other fancy effect I'm missing?
For now I'm just happy my problem was already answered and not hard at all to fix. Phew.
Do you think we could get a windhelm bridge texture to complement this mod? The trasnistion between the bridge and the snow near the stables is really bad. Not the fault of this mod mind you, it looks bad with every snow mod.
I don't know which texture is it. Otherwise i'll just correct it. Do someone knows ? I suspect it comes from this mod, but not sure. And i didn't use your lodgen source, but maybe I should ? I'm using this mod along Majestic Moutains, Glorious Glacier and Better Roads + Blended Roads.
@ Johnny Wang. For Footprints there is an easy fix. I have applied the fix and all is blended now. Quote from 4109

Not sure if it's Obsidian weathers, but the snow doesn't seem to match the snow grass well. it seems a bit blue and darker... the grass seems very white and bright.
help, i'm getting meshes/texture incompatibility with skyland's snow road textures/meshes. I installed this mod after skyland but somehow this mod doesn't replace the snow road that skyland has, i'm using detailed console command and the files' names are roadchunk01-roadchunk04 if i'm not wrong. Any fix for this?

So I just replaced it with the snowrocks01.DDS and it was perfect.
I also switched to Fluffy Snow.

no enb, just cathedral weathers, improved snow shader disabled and I still am getting blue distant snow. Any fixes?
