This is a complete overhaul of the Divayth Cottage house mod. If you have an older version in your mod list remove it, and start a new game. Your existing save game will be corrupted if you download this version when it was using the earlier version. Check change log for changes.

Divayth Cottage is a no reset zone with safe storage. The home has 4 bedrooms. Three bedrooms are set for children beds and will say owned. The three bedrooms can be changed by using the button decor switches in each room if the player wants the rooms for followers. The home supports up to four children or up to four followers. You need the HearthFire Multiple Adoption mod to adopt the children. The house just provides their beds and markers. If the children's option is selected, the house will be compatible with the Hearthfire's multi adoption. The bless this home spell will acknowledge four beds for adoption. If these rooms are changed to guest bedrooms then, Hearthfire will not acknowledge it for children. To avoid NPC confusion decide how many kids, then use the bless this home spell. This cottage includes many idle markers for children. It doesn't control any followers, children or spouses. The player still needs the mods to control spouse, family and followers.


NPCs that are not tied to a house with a custom package use the standard sandbox option. These NPC standardly do not see the floor above them. Use Multiple Floors Sandboxing Mod to get NPCs to move up and down steps on their own more freely. The Multiple Floors Sandboxing Mod allows them to see the navmesh on the second level. A custom spell has NPC followers remove armor when entering the bathing area. The spell is not used anywhere else in the home. If player sits on the bench in the bathing area their armor will be removed.

The Master bedroom also includes a change appearance mirror. My script uses the command "Show Limited Race Menu". If you are using the RaceMenu Mod, that mod brings up "Show Race Menu", which allows players to change Race. Don't change race it will reset your stats. Secondly, if you have the mod Race Menu don't make two consecutive appearance changes you might crash. Save and restart the game. Also note the mod RaceMenu does suggest users take mod "Show Race Menu Precache Killer patch".


Four green linked barrels are linked to the same chest for easy access to supplies. Each are player activated and can be found in kitchen, outside, armory and display area. The display area is hidden check for clues to find it.
