I can't find the first lost file. I checked the mammoth skull and the nearby area by the building where it was supposedly moved but there's nothing there. In my version of the game the mammoth skull is on a rock and not on the ground like in the movies. Could that be the problem??? I found the problem in my case it was the mod JK's Skyrim all in one... After uninstalling this mod I completed the quest without any problems.
I don't think this is exactly intentional, but whenever I dismiss Recorder, either she just keeps following me anyway, or she just stands in the spot I dismissed for... for like ever... or at least until I ask her to follow me again. She will attack threats nearby, though. Also, iv being given multiple selections of dialog options, 2 for I need to ask you something and 2 for the trade option. On one, she speaks and the other she's quiet.
She's appearing without clothes after staying away for a while from her. Usually after fast travels, although if i remove a clothe item (that she's not wearing) or give her a new cloth item all her clothes comes back.
ok after checking this is due to convenient horse mod, not this one.
i have the same problem with Sofia, and i don't have the horse mod so idk what's the problem, but i dont care that much since removing just 1 piece of cloth fixes it
No, its part of her story for her to be naked. When you first greet her you have a dialog option to ask her why she is naked. If she is naked its because you are using a female body mod without an underwear mesh.
I'm not a huge fan of this patch. It forces you to chose the intervals in which Recorder makes comments while every 1 hour is the minimum. Before she was constantly chatting with me and now she is mostly silent :(
Edit: I just stood looking at her for more than one ingame hour and she didn't say a single word! This is honestly ruining the mod for me. Since I jsut got out from helgen, I will uninstall JK's skyrim (only reason I installed this patch) and start a new game with old chatty recorder which was so much better!
idk if it works yet cause im still setting up my mod list but i found a mod that adds an MCM for her that allows you to set how often she makes comments, id think that as long as you load it after this patch like it says to do you'd be able to fix the 1 hour minimum bs.

does this fixed the issue with summon recorder/omnico spell? my character has high magic absorption so every time I used those spells it ended up being absorbed instead. oh, also does it removes that annoying hunting bow that persist within recorder's inventory too?
Has anyone had problems with the 4th Record near Helgen at South Skybound watch. The scene doesn't finish. The barrels are in the way and don't let her walk to the wall. I removed the barrels and the scene commenced as intended.
4th Record near Helgen at South Skybound watch. SAVE GAME before doing this. You need to remove the 1 barrel that is laying down at the top of the tower. She must walk to the edge of the tower to have the scene move forward. don't type in quotation marks. So type in " ~ " click on the barrel with mouse make sure you have a new window pop up that says barrel in it not snowdrift. then type in "disable" then hit enter key . Barrel should disappear. " ~ " After this is done pick up the fourth record and watch scene. to replace the barrel " ~ " place mouse pointer where barrel was type "enable" hit enter key " ~ " go back to playing.
So I don't have any barrels to remove, and the recording wont even start. I get frozen in place but nothing happens. Ever. Have to reload save just to carry on playing, but cannot continue quest

I have the conversation option to reset the files, so I guess the fix working correctly, but I can't see at anywhere around the original spot. "This has been moved to the side of the mammoth skull." So it should be close to the original spot, right? Any idea what should I check? Thank you! EDIT: Okay I was just blind and it had a strange texture next to the building, but I found it!
