No enemy health bar and no names is the one for me. I had something like this before which I Think I did in the ini. Love it. People think it's hard, but it isn't. It just makes things much more exciting and you have to think just a little bit, like a great warrior facing a great monster should:
For instant, you come across an easy bandit, no problem you kill him. You don't even need to know his health... But then you come come across a Draugr. Is it a Draugr lord or a Draugr no name? Could be easy. Could be hard. Could be deadly. Should you take him on or not? You hit him a few times- he's still standing, he hits you, you're hurt... Do you risking fighting on in the hope it falls soon? Or do you get out of there and get some distance?
No health bar on enemies forces you to have to think a little- and when you're fighting DRAGONS! Woo! You gotta be ready! You'll have one heck of a battle, probably running and hiding a lot while praying the next blow you strike will drop it. But when you see it finally fall down you'll feel great and it feels a lot more immersive!
Also it LOOKS better. I can't stand a big red bar over their heads or a name like I'm robbocop!
I’m not sure if I fully understand your question, as it seems a bit confusing. The enemy health bar is always positioned above the enemy and never in your own HUD. This mod doesn’t change the position of the enemy health bar; it only makes it less noticeable or completely disables it. Your own health bar is not affected by this mod and remains as it is.
This is a great mod but I feel like the bars are wider than they need to be. Is there a way to reduce that? Someone mentioned these for turning bars off but I don't see them in my INI now and not sure what values to use to reduce width assuming that would even work.
Endorsed. No health bar and no names will change how you play.
For starters, it eliminates your ability to target enemies in the dark; you need to use torches and magelight to light up a room. Your compass will point you in their direction, but you don't know where those arrows are coming from, which makes combat very different. I enjoy it a lot.
Yes, I remember that you could do this. But I also remember that this had some disadvantage and leads to problems. I'm too lazy to look that up since the thread was over 4 years ago on Reddit.
A Request/Suggestion: - If it is possible that you alter or add a new darker red color because the current red is brighter than the vanilla enemy health bar. - If it is possible that you add the option to make the health bar a little bit transparent. Something like %75.
It's amazing being able to fight hostiles without seeing their name or health bar! Timed attacks feel more epic now hahah! Thanks for this awesome mod works well in VR! Endorsed!

Or maybe the bar just needs to shrink when the enemy is farther away.
