This is probably the most important mod you will ever download. Are you tired of seeing hundreds, if not thousands of Dented Iron Shields, but none of them are actually dented? Well no more! This meticulously crafted mod took me hundreds of hours to perfect. Now, every single Dented Iron Shield in the game will be dented!
Wait...you didn't even know this item existed? Me neither 40 minutes ago, my compulsive need to fix every single thing about this game (that also prevents me from enjoying it) created this mod. It requires its own ESP but I expect most people to just move the contents into another file, it just changes model paths. (Me personally, this mod exists in my Unofficial Patch esp.)
Why Bethesda added this item is an anomaly. It's an Iron Shield with Hide stats and sound effects. It's called "Dented Iron Shield" but is completely identical to the regular Iron Shield. Why? What is the purpose? They went out of their way to create a new item with stats and a name, gave it to a specific NPC added by Dragonborn, and didn't take the 30 seconds it took for me to rough this model up in a program.
