Hi! First off, love this reshade, I've tried many others, and always come back to this one. It's really nice. I have one question though, is it possible to adjust the DOF effect so as it is not as strong, and maybe doesn't affect the UI? There's a clear cut where the DOF ends near the focus point, and the rest is fully blurred, including UI, subtitles, etc. Thanks!
Dude I just wanted to thank you for doing this preset I tried a lot from the nexus and the lazy.net database (you should put your preset there people need to see this lol) and still have a dozens of them installed but yours is just amazing it feels like a movie honestly and that's exactly what I was looking for so thank you again ! And the best thing is it doens't kill the perf too much
Probably the BEST reshade there is but when I move my mouse around trees, the leaves turn a shade lighter, then return to normal when I stop. It's a minor problem but I was wondering how to fix it. I have reshade 3.0.4 so could that be the problem?
I will keep an eye out for this. That's likely because of the lumasharpen shader. If you care to try disabling it, go ahead. Will report back if I find an answer for you!
That's a display issue you'll encounter a lot depending on the type of tv/monitor you have. I know my TV, in certain modes did this like crazy in fallout4.
The reason it isn't as apparent in vanilla lighting is because the image is so washed out and blurry that even if you move the mouse around, its barely perceptible. Since my reshade preset, and likely many others, not only boots general colors but also sharpness (vis lumasharpen), they make this rendering issue more visible to the eye.
The best you can do to tone this down is turn off lumasharpen, but your image will be less crisp. Maybe its a good trade off for you though?
I didn't notice it because I've been "enduring" this sort of stuff on my tv for some many years that I don't see it anymore. Games with heavy foliage like Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, Fallout 4, and others did this alot.
This is a long shot, but check if your monitor has different modes, see if one tones it down. Turning off "gaming" mode on my TV helped the problem.
Oh and thank you! I am thrilled that you like my reshade preset.
I'm going to be releasing a new version soon that adds a bit more to the visuals via the Ambient Light shader not present in my current release. I will also have fine-tuned Depth of Field blur (off by default) to actually be playable. And I've combed the preset to remove/disable all unneeded/useless features to make sure the game runs as smoothly as possible.
I feel i understand and followed the installation correctly. I ran the installer selected skyrimse.exe it choose direct3d 10+. i clicked on that, it requested if i'd like to download a collection of standard effects i said yes. When i load the game, i receive the message compiling effect, once it's finished it says click shift F2. When i do so nothing happens, i have no interface box appearing so i can not select the reshade ini
so i was talking to a friend who happen to be an apple specialist (the tech firm not the fruit) he asked how skyrim se was i told him great but mentioned my issue with reshade how the shift f2 wasn't working. He sudgested i look on my keyboard and if there is a Fn key to hold shift fn f2 and it should work. He was right it fixed my issue
I didn't have this issue with the original game, but it's a constant problem with SSE. I'd say, ALT TAB and then wait for a couple to 5 seconds, then hold ALT TAB and select the screen you want to see, or just press the Windows button on your keyboard.

If it didn't happen with 3.0.3 you might consider rolling back!
