    If you chose the ESPFE version of the plugin for Drinking Waters, this patch will not work because the FormIDs are different. To make them line up, follow these directions:

    1. Open Drinking Fountains of Skyrim for SSE - RND Patch.esp in xEdit.

    2. Under Activator in the LEFT HAND column, right-click "07002E71" and choose "Change FormID" from the popup.

    3. Change it to "FE000800" without the quotes.

    4. Exit xEdit and save the plugin.

    You can now apply the ESL flag to the RND patch safely if you want:
    Open Drinking Fountains of Skyrim for SSE - RND Patch.esp in xEdit, click on the File Header, in the right-hand column double click the blank entry to the right of the "Record Flags" field. Say "Yes" to the warning, then choose ESL from the list. Exit xEdit and save the plugin.

      This worked quite well - thank you!  I wanted to add that after the edit the three bottles of water the fountain supplies (at least at first) still do not apply to RNAD, however filled empty bottles and waterskins do.

      Vortex tells me Patch is missing masters, I did not have  "07002E71" under Activators. Thoughts?

      Did you download the file called "Drinking fountains of Skyrim for SSE - 1.5" from the Drinking Fountains for Skyrim mod and choose the ESPFE version (NOT the ESL and NOT the ESP version)?

      The one issue I'm having with this is the "07002E71" is not there.
      To verify I did a fresh download, got the same result.
      The only entry under Activator is FE145E71.
      Any advice?

      It sounds like you didn't download the ESPFE version of Drinking Fountains. If not, then you don't have anything to worry about. Does that single activator modify the same record in Drinking Fountains? If so, then you're fine and you don't need to do anything.

    Second, there's a typo in the description that says you become the waterbottles every ten days and I think that's hilarious. Werebottles?

    Hi! Is this compatible with CACO too? I am asking because there is a patch for CACO called iWant Drinking Fountains for CACO, so, presumably, CACO also interferes with the water items from Drinking Fountains and needs to be patched for some reason. Or is this compatible with that patch? I'll check for conflicting records with my noob skills but I'd appreciate any insight.

    Don't know if anyone is listening here, but I was wondering if this also works with RnD 2.0 (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23799)?

    EDIT: After testing, YES IT DOES WORK WITH RnD 2.0.

    just curious, how well does this mod play with open cities? was thinking of installing them both & i hear open cities is very finicky about ANYTHING that changes things inside cities lol.
