Version 1.1 is released! I've improved on some calculations, and the overall leveling should be somewhat faster, particularly for mid to high levels, more in line with what I originally intended. The preset offerings are also a bit different now, with 2 of the options more closely following ChocolateNoodle's preset for MorrowLoot Ultimate. The mod description has also been updated with more details and a slightly more fleshed out mini mod guide.

My updated Excel calculator can be found here.

Note that while the calculator is now capable of generating SkillExpGainMults\BaseSkillLevel per skill, I do not use this in the presets. I use the "standard" curve for all skills, which tends to be a good enough approximation.

If I use the mod "Choose Your Starting Skills," is it possible to get 7+ skills to level 100 before reaching level 80 if I start with over 25 in 7+ skills? If so, what stat distribution would work with 7 skills or 8 skills to get them to level 100 at level 80?

Hello, I'm wondering how the uncapper interacts with mods that alter the skillrate of skills. CCO will give you bonus xp in the form of invisisble perks on your character. If I set all the skill rate of these perks to 2000% and assign all skills to 5%. would this allow me to multiply the 5% by 2000% in order to essentially replicate the vanilla skillrate? or would the uncapper overwrite any xpbuffs that the player gain ingame?

I like your mod. Thanks for putting in the effort for it.
I have a question about using your mod. My character build is mage and I use no other class mods. How can I choose my 6 skills? I want to also include one-handed, speech and light armor. I'm already level 49 though and I just found your mod.

Neat stuff! I have made a classless 100 skill 81 level variant: https://pastebin.com/3bwCUb2N

It is quite different from yours since it permits capping all 18 skills (though I expect that will take a long time as character level rises) so "variant" is perhaps an understatement. Still, it might be interesting to some players looking for a new playthrough, if anyone wants to report back any issues or findings here (only recommended for fresh new characters, as all values are tweaked assuming character has 0 skill progress when starting). Here is a recap of its features (also restated in the pastebin, just paste it into your SkyrimUncapper.ini file):

Any skill can be made legendary from the start (press SPACE on current skill in TAB menu tree).
This no longer resets skill level, it only refunds any perk points spent inside the skill tree.
This also means characters will at most reach level 81 if they manage to cap all the 18 skills.

All skills require book or trainer to increase them at level 19, 24, 49, 74, 89, NO learning by doing.
Level 15-18 skills increase by 0.25x normal rate, and level 20-23 skills increase by 0.50x normal.
Level 25+ skills increase by 0.75x normal, but will grow faster with every 8 skill levels above that.
Note that skills below 26 give no character XP so enemies won't scale up from these early skills.

Skills have also been grouped per their late game combat utility into these tiers:
2.1 craft (3 skills): Alchemy Enchanting Smithing
1.7 strong (3 skills): Archery Sneak Illusion
1.0 base (6 skills): OneHanded TwoHanded Block Alteration Conjuration Restoration
0.6 weak (3 skills): HeavyArmor LightArmor Destruction
0.0 town (3 skills): Lockpicking Pickpocket Speech
Higher tier skills increase your character level more as they grow (see pastebin diagram).
Higher tier skills are harder to grow as character level increases (relative to utility above).

Skills should be increased simultaneously 20 skill over character level for faster progress.
You can at most cap half the total sum of skill utility at level 81, meaning 9.6 utility at most.
I.e. prioritizing weak/base skills lets you cap more than if you prioritize strong/craft skills.
Town skills NEVER affect character XP and do not count in the utility total or skill cap limit.

Cool stuff, thanks for sharing. Are Block and Alteration really more powerful than Destruction?

My understanding from various GameFAQs and reddit posts is Destruction per vanilla does not scale damage very well at high levels, despite taking the Dual cast and Impact perks, and all the other perks (I've only ever reached 35 destruction so I am not an authority on this). One consequence of its 0.6 utility above is it will affect character level less, so as a tradeoff the variant lets you level the skill higher without enemies growing in level (since yours is also lower) nearly as fast as the strong or base combat skills would.

The ASCII art diagram in PasteBin might be a bit tricky to read (x-axis:skill y-axis:character) but should also highlight how the crafting skills grow exponentially in utility, meaning at low levels you can increase them without affecting character too much, but after 70 skill they affect your character more than the strong skills (see also some additional notes below the diagram).

EDIT 2019-08-25: Made some changes so every 10 character levels your lowest skills become much harder to increase (testing on a new character will show if this is too much), and currently you can only cap half of all 15 combat skills at 81 character level. See the two Tweak comments in top of PasteBin; this makes you level character twice as fast but skills in general grow at only half speed to counteract this (though I still fear character will level up rather quickly above 25 skill in early levels). Both can be set to 1 further down in the ini file so skills increase character level less, to permit all 15 combat skills to cap, and restoring normal skill speed respectively.

Would you be open to creating or helping to create a preset that would work with the YASH overhaul? I'm working on updating/re-creating my Skyrim ALL YASH'd UP guide now that dAb is updating the SSE version of YASH and I'd like to include adaptive leveling.

YASH already makes some significant changes to experience gain so I was hoping to not tackle the uncapper work by myself since I'm totally new to how it works on a technical level.

Thanks in advance either way for your consideration. :)

PM me. I'm open to helping, but I don't have any experience with YASH. So far, I've been working primarily with MLU and Ordinator and tuning based on those. Chances are we can figure out a preset for it, though.

Did you ever do this? I'm using Yash, Character Creation Overhaul, and you author's choice classed 100 skill cap uncapper. I'm unable to level any of my classes skills past 20, and haven't been able to level my others much either, so I'm stuck at level 2.

Once I hit a skill level of 20 in smithing I stopped getting smithing experience from any source. One of the settings in the .ini under the heading [SkillExpGainMults\BaseSkillLevel\Smithing] says 20=0.00, and once I changed that 0.00 to 1.00 I started getting smithing xp again.

Edit: upon further reading, this appears to be a feature not a bug. I didn't realize that skills outside your class specialization couldn't be leveled past level 20 by "natural" means (though skill books and trainers can circumvent this).

Hello. I am using Classic Classes and Birthsigns mod which gives me starting level of 25 for a few specific skills. One of them being Alchemy. I am using your CLASSED uncapper ini file and not sure if this is an issue or not. But my Alchemy is leveling SUPER slow. Potions of all kinds give me very low xp. I am also using Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul (CACO) and I"m not sure how much that changes the leveling or XP gains. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I haven't used CACO, so I'm not sure of how it affects the leveling. My uncapper would just halve the rate at skill level 25.

If I'm using character creation overhaul with this, would I want to go with or without CCO's "Dynamic Skill Progression" module?

I don't think it matters much whether or not you use it. I would recommend any option that disables racial starting skills, but I don't believe that is covered by Dynamic Skill Progression. It would just make you progress faster.
