If there's something else in your load order that makes changes to Dragonbone Boots, then the changes from this mod will be overwritten.
The way Skyrim works is that you can't change just one part of a game object; each mod is actually replacing the entire game object with a near-identical copy, containing just the changes that the mod wants. So, if you have another mod that edits the Boots in any way, and if that mod loads after this one, then: this mod will replace the "Dragonbone Boots" object with a near-vanilla copy that has sound changes; and then the other mod will replace that object with its own near-vanilla copy that has some other changes. Only one mod "wins." I understand there are "patcher" utilities out there that can address this problem for an entire load order, however.
