Regarding the creation of free mods, translations, videos etc. based on the Curse of Akavir project: I have no problem with it - there's no need to message me for permission, just provide proper credits.
This is a fantastic mod. Youve got to fight the kinks though. Meaning if youre not playing on pc, dont bother. This is for advanced modders and gamers. You need to know your way around the console, load order, and memory. For those of you who do, PLAY THIS MOD!!! ITS THE SHIZNIT! Its also based on your pc. (THIS IS NOT FOR POTATOS) Dont even try. I truly enjoyed this as it has some pretty fun surprises. Advice: 1. If you can, skip the first quest, its poorly mad and doesnt seem to have anything to do with anything, also its bug crazy. 2. If you want to bring companions, teleport them after the goofy intro and you arrive in the hood. 3. Towards the end of the main quest the whole map is going to change. There a war going on so dont go killing everything and youll see some cool stuff. This is so good of a mod that its still worth playing with even though you have to muscle through it. Have fun and be patient, i suggest an immersive playthrough, take your time. Just when things look boring you get hit with the modders true intent for the mod. Please add anything i might have missed. Your first hurdle is thr beginning. I see where he was going but its not needed. Youll be teleported to winterhold, then to a ship youre taking to akavir being attacked. Crash plan and simple. The modder used some irritating textures so IF you can get past this, youre in the clear...for now. Youll have to run around and talk to people. Do it IN ORDER so save before doing any quests so you can go back. The open world looked great to me but dont expect the witcher 3 here. Be reasonable. You might get texture ctds here and there so save often. But this is nothing for those of you with 6-800 load orders. Certain creatures will ctd it depends on your set up this also means from a distance. If that happens disable that creature. Theres a play home and a sensei.
Just started this so maybe missing something obvious. Appear to have lost a big chunk of my inventory and followers appear AWOL. Hoping there is a way to recover everything at some point?
