    You have questions or troubles?

All the questions that you may have should find an answer in the FAQ located in the mod's description.

    If you have troubles:
    - Download the latest version.
    - Check if you use a mod which is incompatible with Immersive Citizens, all mods with more than 100 endorsements and which are incompatibles with the latest version of Immersive Citizens should be listed in the description (Compatibility & Synergy section).
    - Check if your load order is correct. If you use LOOT do not forget to update the online masterlist.
    - Read the troubleshooting section and the FAQ in the description.
    - Read this page which will help you to build your mod list.

If you want to report bugs, there is a bug section. Don't forget to explain how to reproduce a bug with a minimal load order otherwise it will be pointless (I can't fix a bug that I can't reproduce).

I just saw Utgerd walk out of town and jump on a horse and ride off... For someone that knows she's stuck in the tavern 24/7 for the last 5 years this just melted my brain for a good few minutes. And just when I was recovered from the world shattering event, I see Jon Battleborn and the white haired Grey mane lady sit together, on a ledge outside of town! I don't know if I can handle anymore of this.

Seriously though, this is my #1 essential right now for SSE. Thanks heaps and heaps!

I already endorsed this mod as soon as I downloaded it the first time (been in my load order sience it first came up in old Skyrim) so now that I am updating the mod I want to say this is such an amazing addition to the game, it truly makes Skyrim feel alive without adding any more npcs to the world to just "fill" it. Seriously, this is how the game should've been. Thank you.

I kinda want to double endorse this mod. Its really cool, and ads a subtle but very cool layer to the NPC's making them more interesting. My only real annoyance is that the general goods vendor in Windhelm, the high elf, is always hiding from the storms at home and never available to trade unless I disable the weather sense part of this mod. Might consider making vendors and the like harden up a bit and brave the weather in Windhelm stormy areas. Also I think its worthy of pointing out the illogical lore here. One of the coldest cities in skyrim is the has an outdoor market? They totally would have built a covered bazaar with doors to block the wind....

Also, total props for making the effort to support your mod. Especially compared to some of the passive aggressive comments "screw you community" and mod abandonment with locked comments you are really showing a level of professionalism. That alone deserves an endorsement!

I'd like to second this, and would really like to double endorse this mod were it possible. My sincerest compliments to the author for not only the quality of and essential nature of the game improvements this mod provides, but also on the author's level of professionalism and ongoing courtesy to the community.

I've noticed an increase in juvenile and belligerent behavior by other mod authors with the release of SSE. Everything from ridiculously rude and abusive remarks aimed at the community on their mod description pages and/or stickied comments; down to childish tantrums like locking page comments, effectively shutting off all user cross communication and self assistance for that mod entirely. Personally, I have begun to cull from my load order the growing list of mods from authors who are misbehaving and abusing their fans and this community, and refuse to support those authors financially or otherwise in the future.

Thank you again to Shurah and for you continued professionalism as a mod author. The community as well as other authors have much to learn from you.

Yeah I'm thinking about disabling the influence of snow weathers for windhelm's merchants or to give the ability to Niranye to offer her services at anytime (Edit: I've done it in the last update). I'm very annoyed by the design of markets: merchants have no shelters and nowhere to sit. I'm also very annoyed by the fact that weather can be only only sorted in only 4 categories (snowy, rainy, cloudy and pleasant), if Bethesda's developers had added a storm category, I could have designed something really realist. Instead I'm obliged to take debatable decisions or to support all major weather mods (not option due to a lack of time).

Thank you for your supportive comments malibu35072 and mgrae.

Made a comment earlier but apparently it disappeared magically hmm..
Anyways, I'm having a bug where if I begin combat with someone but then run away, the combat music still won't stop, character is tense as if in battle and the enemy's red dot won't disappear from the compass.. no matter how far i go. Does anyone know how to fix this?
    Please help me.
I know it is this mod because I have all other mods disabled and the issue persists.

Can anyone give me some help or advice on this, I'm not very good at sorting this stuff it can get really confusing. Maybe the answer is staring me in the face but I just can't for the life of me sort this out. It keeps saying I have cycles but the game runs fine and no matter what order I put them in it's the same result and I can't add new mods as it won't let me auto-sort my plugins anymore. I'll link an imgur if anyone is interested in giving me some advice on what to do.

What a change. Thousands of hours in Skyrim and this playthru feels fresh because people are not in the same old places. In Whiterun, a new merc was propping up Belethor's and Jon was having a picnic with his girlfriend out by the road. Thank you for all your work.

Downloaded this mod and Immersive Wenches while my character was out dungeoneering. Came back to Whiterun not expecting to be blown away, walked in the gate, saw nobody, walked into the tavern to get that sweet immersion sleep - and I could not believe what I saw. Guards and Gray-Manes and Battle-Borns having a chat around the fire, wenches carrying platters of drinks, and Arcadia sitting down with the kids in the corner, and a pair of girls dancing for Mikael. The next morning, I walk outside, and Aela is watching the sunrise with her feet dangling of the castle wall.

Absolutely stunning work. Every normie I show this mod to says he cannot go back to normal Skyrim.

It's unreal the difference in immersion that this mod creates. Very well done, and endorsed, Shurah.

I dont know if it was only me or what, but for me is the opposite. I walked into the tavern with nobody in there. It normally would have a lot of people. I thought it was the immersive citizen killing it. I walked in at 4 am though. Could that be a problem cause it was so late?

Has anyone ran into Dari gra-Shogroth in the giants inn in Riverwood?

I'm trying to track down who she is, because she is crashing my game everytime she trys to stand up or talk.

She's not a base-game character, and I've never seen her anywhere, so she's more than likely from another mod you're using.

Click on her in console and compare the first two digits of her console ID with your load order. Should tell you which mod added her.

Oh cool, I didn't about that. Thnx. Will try right now!

update: actually , it appears to not be accurate at all. I turned off the mod that the load order showed, that was the 1st two digits, a800... so a8 in the load order was a bow add on that had nothing to do with people. Now her console number is a7009ad4, which is my half orc race. Suspicious I started to console select a few other things in the inn, that I know comes from specific mods. And none of the mods load order line up with the digits of the console select number.

      Any advice?

At that point, the only thing I can suggest is nuking both the file and your modlist and reinstalling things one at a time. It's a bad idea uninstalling/disabling mods mid-game anyways.

Blue, if the console ID isn't pointing you in the right direction, you can also try using the help command on her name.

      help dari

      or

      help "dari gra-shogroth"

and see what numbers it gives you. It may be different from the console ref ID. I've never had it come up with the wrong mod before, though, so I'm not sure why it's doing that to you.

It is because the main game files are not being accounted, so from what you see add 5 places, for example you saw on console 08 then check on your load order what is on 13th position.
Alternatively google the name of the problematic NPC and most likely will direct you to the associated mod.

Don't know if the problem still occurs. But here's (at least my) solving of the problem (cuz I got the same): She comes with the half-orc race. I deactivated the mod and... voila... Dari was gone. Hope it helps.

i have a really stupid question. after reading this mods web page if i'm not mistaken this isn't compatible with mods like "The Great Cities" & "The Great City of Solitude" but only sortof? my question is what is the best & worst case scenario (short of breaking my game or something lol) if i play with these mods anyway?

As someone who likes both IC and the Great Cities mod, I'm currently dealing with this as well.

Best case scenario, there are no issues. The citizens with improved AI go about their business in these new, wonderful cities and towns.

The worst case scenario, at least that I've experienced, is that the citizens get stuck, and/or wander around seemingly confused. This has been, for me, most prominent in Falkreath, where they cluster outside the main gate. Even my followers get stuck there. And in Dawnstar, a lot of them, including the Jarl, get cluster in front of the inn, never to move even during snow storms.

So it does break immersion and is annoying, but far from game breaking. I've just had to decide between IC or Great Cities, which I've so far chosen IC.

But I wish I didn't have to choose. Here's to hoping it's patchable one day.
