    You have questions or troubles?

All the questions that you may have should find an answer in the FAQ located in the mod's description.

    If you have troubles:
    - Download the latest version.
    - Check if you use a mod which is incompatible with Immersive Citizens, all mods with more than 100 endorsements and which are incompatibles with the latest version of Immersive Citizens should be listed in the description (Compatibility & Synergy section).
    - Check if your load order is correct. If you use LOOT do not forget to update the online masterlist.
    - Read the troubleshooting section and the FAQ in the description.
    - Read this page which will help you to build your mod list.

If you want to report bugs, there is a bug section. Don't forget to explain how to reproduce a bug with a minimal load order otherwise it will be pointless (I can't fix a bug that I can't reproduce).

I just saw Utgerd walk out of town and jump on a horse and ride off... For someone that knows she's stuck in the tavern 24/7 for the last 5 years this just melted my brain for a good few minutes. And just when I was recovered from the world shattering event, I see Jon Battleborn and the white haired Grey mane lady sit together, on a ledge outside of town! I don't know if I can handle anymore of this.

Seriously though, this is my #1 essential right now for SSE. Thanks heaps and heaps!

I already endorsed this mod as soon as I downloaded it the first time (been in my load order sience it first came up in old Skyrim) so now that I am updating the mod I want to say this is such an amazing addition to the game, it truly makes Skyrim feel alive without adding any more npcs to the world to just "fill" it. Seriously, this is how the game should've been. Thank you.

I kinda want to double endorse this mod. Its really cool, and ads a subtle but very cool layer to the NPC's making them more interesting. My only real annoyance is that the general goods vendor in Windhelm, the high elf, is always hiding from the storms at home and never available to trade unless I disable the weather sense part of this mod. Might consider making vendors and the like harden up a bit and brave the weather in Windhelm stormy areas. Also I think its worthy of pointing out the illogical lore here. One of the coldest cities in skyrim is the has an outdoor market? They totally would have built a covered bazaar with doors to block the wind....

Also, total props for making the effort to support your mod. Especially compared to some of the passive aggressive comments "screw you community" and mod abandonment with locked comments you are really showing a level of professionalism. That alone deserves an endorsement!

I'd like to second this, and would really like to double endorse this mod were it possible. My sincerest compliments to the author for not only the quality of and essential nature of the game improvements this mod provides, but also on the author's level of professionalism and ongoing courtesy to the community.

I've noticed an increase in juvenile and belligerent behavior by other mod authors with the release of SSE. Everything from ridiculously rude and abusive remarks aimed at the community on their mod description pages and/or stickied comments; down to childish tantrums like locking page comments, effectively shutting off all user cross communication and self assistance for that mod entirely. Personally, I have begun to cull from my load order the growing list of mods from authors who are misbehaving and abusing their fans and this community, and refuse to support those authors financially or otherwise in the future.

Thank you again to Shurah and for you continued professionalism as a mod author. The community as well as other authors have much to learn from you.

Yeah I'm thinking about disabling the influence of snow weathers for windhelm's merchants or to give the ability to Niranye to offer her services at anytime (Edit: I've done it in the last update). I'm very annoyed by the design of markets: merchants have no shelters and nowhere to sit. I'm also very annoyed by the fact that weather can be only only sorted in only 4 categories (snowy, rainy, cloudy and pleasant), if Bethesda's developers had added a storm category, I could have designed something really realist. Instead I'm obliged to take debatable decisions or to support all major weather mods (not option due to a lack of time).

Thank you for your supportive comments malibu35072 and mgrae.

Hey! Amazing mod, from what I can tell. Haven't personally downloaded it yet because of this:

Is it compatible with Interesting NPCs?

Am I right in assuming that because custom followers aren't included in the basic game files they won't have the "survival instinct" even if I'm using AFT?

If they do get it, does anyone know of a way to turn off "survival instinct" on followers with AFT without dealing with AFT's combat style menu? I ask because I have a couple self-made followers with their own combat styles, like the look of this mod but not if I need to change that

As long as you dont change their combat style with AFT it will remain at whatever they come with

Just to be clear, they won't get the "Survival Instinct" then? That's certainly not what it sounds like from the description:

"If you use EFF, your follower(s) won’t use “Survival Instinct”. If you use AFT, you have the possibility to turn on/off "Survival Instinct" for your follower(s). With AFT, "Survival Instinct" is activated by default. To disable it or to reactivate it, talk to your follower(s), choose "let's talk about your abilities", then choose "change your combat style". Choose a combat style to disable "Survival Instinct" or choose 'None' to reactivate it."

Love the idea of this mod but the last thing I want to do is have my followers running from fights, and the second to last thing I want is a generic CS overriding what I gave them myself.

hmm think I misunderstood your intent in your post sorry :(

Indeed it seems like the full description page have kinda of conflicting info saying "NPC(s) WILL NOT use Survival Instinct when they are currently enlisted as followers." near the top. Yet near the bottom you get this:
"My follower always runs away while I am fighting against a dragon.
You use a follower overhaul such as AFT.

So yeah don't think I can actually help you, but you certainly got me curious how that works exactly now as well though xD

      No worries:)

And that's it exactly... it's not clear what AFT does that makes it so that only AFT followers get the survival instinct, or if non-vanilla followers get it at all. I really like the idea behind this mod, but I had to tweak enough already to get AFT and my followers where I want them :P

I see you are giving permission for translations, but what about compatibility patches? i want to move a couple of objects so they don't clash with other mods i'm using (Bjorlam's tent and Solitude's carriage driver's tent for now) and was thinking of uploading them just in case anyone has the same problem

So hey I’ve had this mod since the beginning of my playthrough all the way to level 50 where I am now and never had an issue but all the sudden I I just randomly started having a load issue bug where I can’t load my newest save but I can load older saves then it’s a 50/50 shot I can load the newest save from an old save. Uninstalling this mod fixes it and I hadn’t installed any new mods when this bug started occurring. However I do also have the apocalypse spells mod installed when I installed immersive citizens and right before this bug started happening i bought and learned a bunch of spell tombs however uninstalling apocalypse doesn’t fix the issue.

I loved this mod in oldrim. Is there any chance that this includes making NPCs use torches at night? (like immersive npc in dark). I hate having to use a torch while fighting while every other being in skyrim appears to have nightvision. Lol

Hey, does anyone know if this mod is compatible with Wet and Cold? The only problem I could see in Wet and Cold is when citizens go inside when the weather is bad, like a snow storm. Not sure if that would conflict with immersive Citizens people routines.

I can confirm it works, and at least from what I’ve seen, they usually go to the local tavern while they wait when I was in Whiterun. Of course I do use JKs Skyrim and Dawn of Skyrim so that may skew results. Only ones you ll probably still see out are the Nords and Argonians (depending on what features you enabled)

Yes, it's compatible with Wet and Cold. Can't recall what that option was called, but if you have both ICACO and Wet and Cold, the conflicting Wet and Cold option gets turned off automatically.

I've also been using ICACO with Wet and Cold and Holidays (also made by isoku, the Wet and Cold author) for a while and it all works well together.

It looks like the light version isn't available for SE yet.

      From http://nextgen-ai.com/immersive-citizens-lite/
Do you plan to make a lite version for Skyrim SE?
Yes, but no ETA though. The original edition of the lite version is used by few individuals, therefore, it's not a priority.
